Ja'larin shrugged, "It is what I do. I was a young woman, and an initiate when I was last here. Even then I knew this place would hold my destiny. Now, it is time to fulfill it."

Livvy tested the kliden, "It has an interesting balance."

"You know something about melee weapons I see," Ja'larin said approvingly.

"Mom wanted me to have a connection with me heritage, and gave me bat'leth lessons from the time I was very young. I also had a Narlin weapons instructor in the Academy who taught me to use more traditional swords. He said I was a natural, and said I would fit right in with a Hylon unit being as I'm a good foot shorter than most Narlins."

"There will be time to reminisce later. Right now let's get off this bloody station," Ashley said as she armed the plasma rifle making sure the disengage the safty.

Ja'larin stared at the stolid British woman. "The ijulna is strong within you. Don't ignore it. Use it to give you strength today."

Ashley just gave the Jase'dasis an impassive look. She didn't know that the hell the ijulna was, nor did she care. She didn't have time to muck around with some crazy old lady's religion

"It's a fancy term for space wizardry... like you can push things and pull things with a thought, knock people down, manipulate thoughts. 'These aren't the droids you're lookin' for' kinda thing." Kirby said with a smirk. "Was Jack's father the only one who still made his kids watch those old Lucasfilms?" she rolled her eyes. "And their kid's friends... "

"If someone says 'I've got a bad feeling about this...' I'm smacking them." Jack said with a wink. "C'mon Princess Leia... let's move those buns."

"Ugh all the bloody times your dad said that to us girls... it wasn't funny the first fifty times..." Kirby giggled lightly and nodded her head. "Ja'Larin... I trust you and I won't have any stern looks when you see me in action, I'm hardly unjustified when I'm breaking necks. These sons of bitches held us captive for years, and I've had to... service... enough of them just to keep myself alive. Walker and I both. This is some serious fucking catharsis time."

[Ashley Walker]

Ja'larin shrugged, "Needs must. We can't very well leave them to attack us later. The why is irrelevant. Dead is dead."

Ashley smirked, "In other words you know you can't stop us, but you can't give us permission. You sound just like Bishop Lawrence when I was a little girl."

"Even the Church of England allows for the killing of one's enemies in time of war."

"Yeah," Ashley said dryly, "That's what the Bishop said too."

[Jack Ryder]

"I have learned never to get in the way of a woman who was wronged." Jack said as he telepathically got a 'feel' for everyone they were going to take off the station. "Ja'Larin... stay close to Walker, she knows this station, I know your mission was to rescue me, but mine... was to make Dominus' life a bit of a hell for a while. And he's going to regret the day he stepped on Terra Alpha and thought he could swing his wanker around."

[Ashley Walker]

"A petite one, " Ashley teased holding thumb and index finger a few centimeters apart. "Compensating is a classic tell."

[Jack Ryder]

"Personally it's not his dick that's small, it's his mind. Small minds always try to inflate their ego and sense of self worth. If he was truly the genius he thinks he is, he would have gone much much further... which is a good thing. My father has run simulations of various scenarios... they scare the ever lovin' piss out of me." Jack said with a wince. "The twisted, utterly diabolical scenarios that he has come up with in his head that he's created safeguards against... if he ever were to turn, he would be far far worse than Dominus... but... Dominus... IS the man behind my father's enhancements, and thus... those of the rest of the family that came from his seed." he looked at Ja'Larin. "I've seen it in his mind, he sent those aliens that enhanced my father."

[Kinsey Calhoun]

The bond hit Kinsey with overwhelming force the second she, Khan, and J’larian boarded the station. After weeks of emptiness the feeling of Jack brushing against her mind filled her with to many emotions to process. Kinsey braced herself against the wall as Khan ripped into the enemy giving her a moment to adjust.

Kinsey’s breathing slowed and her heart rate decreased as her mind cleared. She brought her rifle up taking hold of it in her gloves hand and fired at the two men Khan was about to attack. Dropping each with a single head shot. She shrugged an armored shoulder as she walked passed him.

“Try to keep up old man.” Kinsey taunted, her voice filtered through her helmet.

[Jack Ryder]

"Right right..." Khan said with a smirk. "Nice shots." he mused as they made their way deeper into the station.

~ Kinsey... you are a mental impression for sore minds... ~ Jack 'said' telepathically. ~ We're down in what would have been sickbay 3 on Byron.~

~I’m on my way.~ Kinsey replied back her mind assessing his to see if he was hurt. ~just hang on a few minutes longer my love.~

~ I'd wait an eternity for you but yeah... don't take your time. These goons are brutal and they don't play fair.~ Jack replied and smiled as he looked at Livvy. "Kinsey's on her way. And you future girl, if I hear any cracks about 'oh shit, here comes trouble' I'm givin' you a smack bottom. And not the 'fun' kind. Tired of people talking crap about my wife. She's nuts, yes, she's reckless, true, but she has saved everyone's behinds more time times than she can count. She's a bloody hero."
