"We're going to get you to a much safer... cleaner place." Nick said as he stood next to Kinsey. "My name is Nick. This is Noonian. And my daughter in... my daughter Kinsey of Calhoun."

"K'n'zy," Kinsey corrected. "You can trust them." Kinsey added tapping her temple.

Soraya nodded in understanding, "I know."

"You know... " Nick mused as he reached out a bit with the Iljuna. "We could use this ship... what better way to infiltrate than by using this piece of shit."

"I'm entirely shocked that you are suggesting that." Khan replied. "This place feels... dirty..."

"Like you haven't been on worse?" Nick said as he looked at his brother in law.

"Soraya... how old are you?" Khan inquired as he had the start of a plan in his mind.

Soraya hesitated for a moment determining if she could trust them with such knowledge.

“12.” She said firmly. “Maybe 13 now. I don’t know how long they had us.”

"About the same age a certain Captain was when she had her own freighter." Nick whispered to Kinsey.

"You don't know how long he's had you?" Khan raised an eyebrow at that bit of information. "It's been that long? Usually he kept his trafficked kids only as long as he had to. Butch must have been slipping in his old age." he looked at Kinsey. "We need to get these kids to sickbay on the ship, no telling how long any of them have given the conditions here and the fact all of them look barely fed or hydrated."

“Agreed and I want every analyst we have going over navigation data and the computer core. I want to know where they have been and where they were going and the buyer and sellers are.”

[Nick Ryder]

"Get Hill to assemble the analysts but we should get out of here soon. I do trust you have an idea where Dominus is now?" Nick said as he helped a little girl up to her feet. "Once we know what we're dealing with, should get in touch with Bella, get the ball rolling with these kids."

[Kinsey Calhoun]

Kinsey nodded, “we have an idea.”

[Nick Ryder]

"Good. Looks like we found more than we bargained for." Nick said and crossed his arms. "You were right, either things go really good or they get really complicated."

[Rebecca Talon]

The whine of a transporter deposited Rebecca, Ja'larin, and three Marine corpsmen. The Jase'dasis had their klidens in their hands but, they weren't activated. Rebecca nodded to Nick and put her kliden away. "Hill said you might need some help with the evac."

Kneeling down next to one of the children she resisted the urge to repulse from the smell of stale urine and unwashed body. Sickness oozed from the pores of the child.

Rebecca placed a open hand on the young girl's chest, and with the ijulna she eased the discomfort. "It's okay sweetie," she said in accented Xenexian. The girl smiled and nodded weakly.
