"The Admiral does know that she and the general are the same rank doesn't she?" Muphy asked Ethan.

He shrugged in response, "I'm pretty sure the Admiral has seniority. Mom took her under her wing while she was very young. And it doesn't hurt that she's connected to every VIP in our government and military."

"Aye lad," Dougal added. "I learnt long ago that when a lass has her dander up you don't get ina way."

"Alright alright, this isn't a dick size contest." Trinity said as she rolled her eyes. "But this behavior cannot continue and I have the authority to put all of you on report and that'll be on your records. That IS part of my job as XO of the 82nd. To keep you boys in line so the General doesn't have to. And let's face it... the ranch IS called the Rafter-T... for Trinity."

Ethan grinned, "Well, who can argue with that. But, dear we weren't having a measuring contest. Quite the opposite. We're not used to having Marine officers..." he glanced at his companions for help. "Not used to having officers, especially a general be put in his place by a Navy Admiral."

"Well, if you boys didn't act like children... same goes for you Navy boys too..." Trinity said to the guys in the other room. "Then we wouldn't have to. We're all Alliance and we're all on the same side, although that said... General... I believe my husband challenged your men to war games. I think it's a great idea. I'll up to the stakes besides bragging rights. I know you've been after some of the new heavy assault transports. I have one promised to us, but I can have it sent to you. IF you win. If we win... your boys are building our new hanger."

Brusilov extended a hand and shook her's, "Colonel you have a deal. Good day Ms. Morris. General." With that he walked out of the station like he owned it.

Ethan chuckled, "If you were going to raise the steaks you should have asked for more. Brusilov thinks he can win because he has regular troops. He over estimates his, and under values us. He thinks of us as farmers with pitchforks, and he the gallant knight in full kit. But, we will win. The only regiment with combat experience under the general is the 108th. They are also known as the 8th Legion of Foot on Talaria. Ambassador Starbreeze lead the unit for a time, and they all fought in the Imperium War, and some in the Narlin Civil War. They will be difficult to beat.

"But, his weakest unit is the five-oh-duce. Under the command of Colonel Alexander Stavorov. As a captain he lost almost his entire company in the Border Campaigns. He's arrogant, and a glory hound, and quite frankly a fool. His old CO promoted him to get him out of the field where he found his way onto Brusilov's staff. How he got command of the 502 I don't know. Oh, and the 502. It was formed at the very end of the Imperium War. They never saw combat, and nearly half of the unit mustered out last year."

"I know... but we blew through our entire construction budget on our camp." Trinity whispered. "Contractor we originally hired took our money and bolted. So... that hanger we need for the new toy... would have to come out of personal funds which I am not willing to do. Besides... those guys need to be put in their place. "

Suddenly there was shouting, and police officers started to run about the station grabbing equipment. Radios crackled and their electronic voices filled the air.

Ethan stopped one of the officers by grabbing his arm, "What's going on Sergeant?"

The officer looked at Ethan, "Everyone is free to go. There's been a terrorist attack on the hospital. A bomb." And with that he sprinted down the corridor pulling on a protective vest.

"This could be bad. We better get the division together incase we are deployed," Ethan said. "I hope we don't know anyone... this time."

[Angel Ryder]

"Do that, I'll head in with a Naval forensics team." Angel said and put her hand on Ethan's shoulder. "Get your men ready just in case... "

"I will," Ethan said and saluted Angel. He took a second to kiss Trinity. "Go to the hospital. Help where you can. Your grandfather might need you. Once things settle take command of the troops I'll be sending your way."
