“Only Danteri loyalists and the federation at the end of the war.” Kinsey said with a shrug. “We’ll spend some time here and then we’ll go into Calhoun. Don’t forget your sunscreen and stay hydrated. Xenex can be unforgiving not like the deserts back home. And what’s wrong with 3am sex? I’d rather wake you up at 3 then lay there wondering where you are. Besides you’re the one pulling me into nooks for quickies lately.”

"True..." Jack said with a smile and chuckle. "Hey it was months for me without you and I didn't say I was complaining. You just never used to wake me up at 3am for sex before. It never took much for you to turn me on." he checked his tricorder. "Ohh it's a toasty one today, but I'll manage. I'm hoping this will also settle some arguments back home. Not many really remember this era other than stories and vague memories and someone's always going 'oh no no it was like this you senile old fool...' Now if we can come across a historical database that doesn't exist in our era, I want to download it. Our kids should know about their origins. It's like the Polish side of dad's family, we have spotty records before the 1920s. So much was lost during World War 2 and especially during World War 3."

"You know, you're right..." Jack said as he thought. "We almost did but then we got busy and neither of us were in the mood. We'll have to remedy that. So I'm just curious Kinsey m'dear... your family, any of them share your telepathy? I just want to avoid us being mind read by a local and screw up the timeline, I do not want to go back home to another alternate timeline."

"Kind of why I wanted to come here... " Jack said as he walked with her. "I hope the old camera I brought with me is a proper vintage, I want to give Zeke and Kiera a photo album of old Xenex they can share with their son when he's older."

"What haven't you thought of?" Kinsey laughed.

"Well Zeke was asking me about what some parts of Xenex looked like before the Brethren attacked, short of a few very crude sketches, we had nothing. I felt that future generations, especially those related to us should know. And it's not like my family isn't adept at recreating things from the past." Jack said with a smile. "So... where would you like to go first... what part of town?"
