It Was Just a Quiet Morning

“A little while.” Bella said sheepishly. “I wanted to be sure and I kind of wanted to enjoy it before everyone starts poking and prodding me. Kind of why I want to invite Noonian over for brunch here.”

"Of course... and I would entirely suggest you keep a weapon on you to keep people from poking your belly." Jon said with a smirk. "Then that entirely settles, it, tie, jacket, nothing else but heels, may be the last time for a while that your're this in shape. Unless you're like your mum and bounce back in two months, but I never see that woman eat."

“Me. Price are you telling me to get naked and put on this lovely tie with that jacket?” Bella inquired with a smirk as she pointed to the suit jacket laying on the bed.

"A case could be made for those lacy under things." Jon said with a flirtatious smile

[Isabella price]

“How about just the tie?” Bella inquired playfully as she quickly tied the tie around her neck and started to undo the robe’s belt.

[Jonathan Price]

"That would entirely work for me." Jon said as he watched her. "And perish any thought that just because you're pregnant that I will not find you just as sexually attractive as I have always found you." he glanced at the clock. "When did you tell Noonian to come? I may have to make love to you before he arrives... "

“I haven’t called him yet.” Bella grinned.

[Jonathan Price]

Jon gave her an impish grin. "Maybe I'll have time to make love to you twice then..." he pulled her closer and looked into her eyes. "Whatever happens, whatever we get... boy or girl... I will be there every step of the way. Finally we can stop with our usual response 'oh we're always trying... it'll happen when it happens...' it's finally happened!"

“I love you.” Bella said kissing him deeply. Suddenly she stiffened and pulled back catching something out of the corner of her eye. She looked towards the balcony door a look of confusion on her face as a bright light moved towards them becoming larger and brighter the closer it got.

Bella’s eyes went wide as she realized what it was. It couldn’t be they had defenses in place Incase of an attack.

“Run.” Bella barely got out. “Run!”

Jon saw the light and instinctivey put himself between the window and Bella, shoving her into the closet as it hit, the blast pushed him into the closet and he had the breath taken out of him for a moment.

"The bloody hell was that?!" Jon exclaimed as he held onto Isabella. "And I left my communicator in my briefcase downstairs!"
