"Who is this 'we'," he demanded. "Do you have a mouse in your pocket? We don't have to do anything. David's love life is none of our concern."

"When was the last time he went out on a date with a woman?" Trinity raised an eyebrow. "I know it's none of our concern but y'know... there IS more to life than working. I like him, wouldn't have agreed to bring him on if I didn't. Unless he's like you and he keeps the romantic side very well hidden from others and he's got a whole harem of women he dates just never tells us about."

Ethan laughed. It was a hearty guffaw that echoed down the corridor. After a few moments he wiped away tears, and shoved his hilarity down. "That is the most ridiculous thing I've heard in a long time. First, me a harem? You know I'm a one woman man, and that woman is you. As far as David goes... He's gay! You don't see him with a woman, because he doesn't have much use for them. He was seeing Michael Hancock last. I don't know if he's seeing anyone now, and I really don't want to know."

"Seriously? Really?" Trinity looked at him. "Huh... so that's why... I thought he was just shy or something. I mean, remember Joey Mitchell? He took five years to get the nerve up to ask Trina Chu out. Course he had no teeth after that one fight and he waited until he finally got them fixed... but still." she shook her head. "And Ethan... I didn't say YOU had a harem... course, I... kinda did... well not really really a harem of men but there were a lot of guys that were trying to be suitors... and a few I kinda lead on basically to get work done here. The Pretty Girl Discount built that ranch." she put her hands on her hips. "Well, then I guess I won't try to set him up... that would be embarrassing. Remember Pete Louera? He was gay, didn't know until he turned down that one girl that every guy was just drooling over. Course he had a crush on you... thought maybe that was why you 'friendzoned' me for so long back in our old timeline. Kinda miss that guy, he was a good mechanic. Wonder if his counterpart is still around."

"You mean those girls before we were together?" He said with a grin. "Those were.... well, those were just practice. I didn't want to disappoint you. Get the awkward one and done over with before you." He laughed and leaned against the door frame. "Pete, yeah. Good man. I saw he has a garage on 101st Street. Over there by Memorial Hospital. I haven't talked to him. It's way too weird running into folk like that. People whom you have a long history with, and don't have a clue who you are."

"And they're a lot younger." Trinity chuckled lightly. "Well lover... I better get finished up before I go home." she kissed his lips and gave him a smile. "By the way... I wouldn't give up a second of the time we spent together. Besides... always wanted to sleep with a General."

"You do realize... if you ever go back to the Navy, you'll be a captain." He laughed and swatted her playfully on the bum. "Just go home. The work will still be here when you get back."

"I don't think I will, besides... I can't do a whole starship, I can do this. Face it, we're ground pounders. Did consider running for Sheriff when the time comes around, I liked working more locally." Trinity said and squeaked as he slapped her butt. "Yes sir General sir..." she kissed his neck and whispered. "You might do that a bit harder when we get home when you see what I got planned." she giggled.

Ethan rolled his eyes, but spoke with an ear to ear grin, "Mrs. Talon... you ma'am have the stamina of an ox, and the libido of a rabbit."

"Well it's my... fertile time." Trinity said with a wink. "You know how romantic I get around this time, beats my bitchy time of month. So take it when you can babe. Although ever since the wedding... I kinda want to really make a real push to get pregnant now. Sooner I get at least our first born taken care of, the sooner I can get back to work without it really affecting much. I'm the right age and we've got the help. We both saw birth rates drop like rocks about six years from now, never could figure out why, although I had my theories that the Imperium released something into the soil and air that aided sterility. Taking it while we can, just in case that happens."
