Operation: Sigma
Re: Operation: Sigma
Meanwhile -- Sigma Station
A black hooded figure stood looking at one of the Command crew of the station. He had a blood coated blade in his hand, the bodies of other crew were in a pile behind him.
"Now... I ask again... what are the Command Codes for the Alliance sensor network?" his voice was slightly altered through a vocoder hidden in the scarf around his neck. "You've seen what I can do."
"Siljac, Andrej Lieutenant. Serial Number 9284-S-38-A." The officer said with a defiant tone. "That is all you will get."
"You Alliance fools." the man said and rolled his eyes. "I have no problem adding your body to the pile." he put the blade to his throat. "One... last... time. Command Codes for the Alliance sensor network."
"Siljac..." he started to say before the blade cut through his neck in a clean movement and his head was removed from his neck in a surprisingly bloodless manner ,the blade, while seemingly normal, was superheated the moment it cut the skin and cauterized the wound.
"How annoying." the hooded man said as he wiped the blood on his sleeve. "Put him on the pile."
"Sir... we have incoming. A shuttle from the look of it, hard to get a fix, must have stealth tech. Possibly intelligence." one of the other black suited men with him said.
"Let them come... perhaps it's someone more... useful. And I'm running out of useful people." the hooded man said and smiled. "After all, we didn't go through the trouble of killing the former President's father and capturing the Narlin Emperor for nothing... once we have control of their sensor net, we can enter Alliance space when we wish and we can pin it on a woman that looks very much like the former President's mother. The Master will be well pleased and we'll move up."

Re: Operation: Sigma
When their shuttle had came to a stop Ethan stood and looked around. "This is not a full on assault. You all know that. We are scouts, and the rest of the division is boarding the Erebus as we speak to be the hammer. But, we have to tell that hammer where to strike. We are all expendable
Let's go."
A sergeant opened the rear hatch and the ramp lowered to reveal to Alliance base beyond. All was quiet. He raised his phaser rifle to his shoulder, his trigger finger resting and beside the trigger.
"This would be a good job for mom," Ethan said softly to Trinity. "Too bad I didn't get her abilities."

Re: Operation: Sigma
"Never say never babe." Trinity said softly as she clicked on her HUD and looked around. "Agent Cross has arrived. Let her take point. Grandpa Nick sent her for a reason but..." she didn't quite have a good feeling in the pit of her stomach. "I have a bad feeling about this." she raised her fist and stopped them behind her. "Where's the shuttlebay control officer?" she looked around. "Okay... this is not good." tapping her comm. "Colonel Talon to Black Widow, shuttle control officer is not in the office. Be on the watch for hostiles. Suggest you enter through secondary shuttlebay."
"Ma'am? The Command deck isn't answering." Sgt. Walters informed her.
"Alright, fan out... keep to the shadows, do not engage unless you have to. Two man teams. Observe and report. Quietly." Trinity ordered. "Black Widow is on site... let her do what she needs to do. We're her back up. Unless some of you have augment DNA and years of assassin training under your belts."

Re: Operation: Sigma
Ethan grumbled as he fought with the helmet to be comfortable. In frustration he pulled off the chin strap. It was loose and wobbly, but at least he didn't feel like he was being choked.
"General over here," a voice shouted from across the shuttle bay.
Ethan approached and rounded a set of crates. A Narlin Corporal was kneeling next to a naval officer cut in two at a diagonal from shoulder to waist. The wounds were charred and black.
"A kliden," he said unnecessarily. Everyone in the Alliance could recognize that distinctive inquiry. "Ajem'dasis!"

Re: Operation: Sigma
“It would seem the marines beat us.” Rommie said as she took control of the shuttle and brought it into shuttlebay two. “Trinity would be correct I’m not receiving communications from the shuttlebay control officer. It’s highly irregular.”
“If you’re going to start stating the obvious, I’ll let the twins turn you back into a clock.” Selene threatened as she finished slipping into her suite.
The shuttle touched down gently onto the deck and Rommie lowered the hatch. Cautiously, Selene poked her head out of the hatch as she adjusted her thigh holsters.
“Keep comms open Rommie and see what you can find out. Trinity is right, it’s far too quiet even for a secondary shuttlebay.” Selene said as she made her way down the shuttle ramp. Her eyes darting around the bay assessing for hostiles only to find nothing. The nothing worried her far more than the possibility of someone being there.
Selene moved out of the shuttlebay and into the corridor, it was empty. Cautiously, she made her way towards the lift that would take her up to Ops.

Re: Operation: Sigma
The hooded man looked toward the lift and tilted his head. "I sense... a presence." he said as he put his sword back in the sheath on his back. "Many of them."
"We have been boarded. A Marine shuttle and... something else. I cannot get a reading on it." one of the other black armored men said as he pulled up the internal sensors.
"More bodies for the pile, more to question. This is getting tedious." he said and pointed to his men. "Keep the Ops deck secure at all costs, if we have to rip it from the station and take it back to base and let the nerds at it, we will, but that is a last resort." dropping a blade into a console that embedded itself immediately. "Activate system tap, feed comms to my earpiece." he ordered and the blade formed little tendrils and began to operate the console. "Please, remind me that all of you are smarter than my blade. I will investigate." he tapped the turbolift control and took it to the secondary shuttlebay. The Marines would not be useful to him, although he did sense at least a few among them that could be useful or at least put up a good fight, which made them valuable. But the one in the Secondary bay... interested him the most. He almost couldn't sense her, her mind was far too conditioned and controlled. A worthy opponent and possibly someone that was sent by those in charge to secure the station. The lift stopped and he removed a smaller sword from his hip sheath.

Re: Operation: Sigma
Selene heard the lift come to a stop just as she was about to press the call button. She quickly side-stepped and freed one of her shock sticks from her back. Just as a hooded figure stepped out she hit him in the back with an electrical current that would knock most people out.
Re: Operation: Sigma
The hooded man whipped around and slapped the baton out of her hand. "Shock sticks... clever." he used the iljuna to pick them it up and cocked his head. "The infamous Black Widow I presume?"

Selene stiffened, that voice and the way he stood…It wasn’t Clint though and she knew it, but the fact still caught her off guard. Something she couldn’t afford for this man to see. Selene forced herself to relax and smiled.
“You seem to have me at a slight disadvantage.” Selene said. “And who do I have the pleasure of meeting?”

Re: Operation: Sigma
"There's nothing we can do here. Let's keep moving." He motioned them into the corridor and they worked their way down it in a ladder like maneuver. Each pair advancing one at a time while the rest covered them.
Eventually the sound of combat echoed down the corridor. Their pace slowed as they became more cautious, but they moved steadily.
