"You may never have met him but people haven't stopped glancing at us since they walked in. And are you commanding me?" Kinsey inquired with a raised eyebrow. "I guess I don't have to worry about you fitting in. How Xenexian of you. And please tell me you're not going to go talk to him. She'll know if she doesn't already."

"I'm not commanding you, I'm pushing you dear. Because I know you won't go if you aren't pushed a bit." Jack said with a smirk. "And I think sooner than later she's going to figure out something is up with the other attractive brunette with a man that is firmly infatuated with her. Guess the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree."

“So you want to have a family reunion right here right now?” Kinsey inquired and took a deep drink of her brew. “Yeah that’ll go well. Hi Korba I’m your daughter and you’re an asshole for practically selling me to the enemy and lying to me all my life. Yeah sure that will go down real well. How if your aim?”

"Okay so we don't talk to him, but what about her?" Jack said as he stole a glance at her. "I mean it would truly explain a lot but she's someone we have no records of, not that I can recall and trust me... I tried to find everything I could of your family. It stops at your parents. I think we barely have your grandparents names."

Kinsey glanced up at her over the top of her glass.

“Okay but how do we talk to her without her figuring it out?” Kinsey inquired. “Just talking to her could change the timeline.”

"What if we were meant to talk to her?" Jack replied. "Or what if she was what brought us here..."

“Time travel makes my head hurt.” Kinsey said rubbing her temple. “So you’re saying she some how has the ability to manipulate time. We’re going to need more homebrew and maybe a room.”

"Maybe not her directly, but the Pit... " Jack said and put his hand on her's. "All I know is... that woman is certainly related to you." he shrugged his shoulders. "Homebrew and a room may not be the worst idea, but eventually... we need some answers. Maybe... maybe your dad had no real choice in the matter of you being sold off to Kerken. Or you reminded him too much of her. Of course, the difference between me and your father, I'd hang onto any bit of a woman that I looked at like that."

Kinsey squeezed his hand as she smiled at him.

“Get us a room. I have a feeling they’ll be here in the morning.” Kinsey said as she watched her father and Tali take bottle of alcohol and head up the stairs.

"Yeah... I don't blame him." Jack said with a smile and as he got up and pecked her cheek. "I'll just make sure we're not on the other side of the wall. I'm not repeating that campaign stop where dad and Alice were in the next room... no child needs to know what sounds their parents make in bed."
