Selene didn’t resist she simply stepped back into the turbolift, Widow’s Bite still in her hand.

[Ethan Talon]

"Motherfucker!" Ethan yelled furry boiling over. Veins rose out of his forehead. Something, from somewhere took ahold of him, and he reached out with his left hand. And used some force buried within him, and crushed the Ajem's head, who attacked Trinity, using nothing more than the ijulna. Around him electronics exploded around him.

[Bartyn]

"You can put your toy away." Bartyn said as he looked at her. "Please... like I haven't been on the receiving end of those often enough? I wear countermeasures under my suit." he smirked as the lift went up. "How's the baby?"

[Ethan Talon]

Ethan collapsed to the deck next to Trinity. His strength was gone and tears streaked down his face as he crawled to his wife. He held her close not knowing what else to do.

“You can’t blame a girl for trying.” Selene said as she deactivated the Widow’s Bite and tucked it into a pocket. It didn’t surprise her that he knew about Kaitlyn he would have done his homework the second he reached the reality. It was how they were trained. “Oh, she’s fine. How about you? Adjusting to this reality alright? It can be a bit disorienting at first.”

Bartyn smirked. "Better coffee houses. Although what you have that's simply incredible. Your sensor network. Can detect pretty much anything within the entirety of Alliance space. Funny thing, your people are incredibly tight lipped about how to access it. Now, I'm pretty sure you, being the Master Spy you are, your friendship and familial relationship with the creator of said network and the fact that in at least three other realities, the Black Widow could get into any network anywhere or at least find its flaws and weak points... you'll be much more helpful." he chuckled. "Pretty sure a death threat would be useless to you and I know we're evenly matched. Under normal conditions. But I'm not your Clint. Or like the others."

“So, I’ve noticed.” Selene said as she leaned against the wall of the lift and crossed her arms. “But do let me know when you get to the point. I’m not your Selene either.”

[Ethan Talon]

Regaining his composure, and some strength, Ethan activated his communicator. "General Talon to Erebus."

"Erebus here," the captain on the other end stated. "We have an officer down. And tell Dougal.... tell Colonel Macdonald that we need his regiment on the double. Tell them to arm for Ajem'dasis. Beam Trin... Colonel Talon directly to sickbay."

"Understood. Erebus out."

Ethan kissed Trinity, "You're going to be fine. We'll get this son of a bitch one way or another."

"You'll get me into their network... and I'll let the Marines go." Bartyn said. "Not that I really mind adding a few more kills to this but I do need those codes and that access. Otherwise my boss is going to be very upset and will just go the brute force route so..." he gestured to the door. "We make this easy on ourselves. I get what I want, you keep a body count down and you can return to your kid... mostly intact."

Selene shook her head, “No deal I’m kind of attached to myself.”
