Operation: Sigma

[Ethan Talon]

Ethan was standing behind Bartyn as Dougal, and his Company CO pulled themselves out of their Jefferies tube. They were being covered by the Marines behind them still in the tube.

"1-epsilon-4-4-5-9-alpha-9," Ethan said. "Not that it will do anything for you. It only works for this facility, and there isn't enough power to run a toaster now."

[Bartyn]

"Yeah it's a thing of his. Stuffed heads get you in his good graces." Bartyn replied. "But he's not the only one my Ajem work for." he chuckled lightly and looked at Ethan. "Not bad meatheads... but if you did your homework, you'll know Sigma was built with redundancies." he walked over to a console and entered a divert power command and then entered the codes. "You've been very helpful."

[Selene Cross]

“Clint,” Selene called to him letting just a bit of emotion show in an attempt to reach some art of him. The part that always seemed to draw them together. “You’re a terrible liar.”

[Bartyn]

"God, this reality made you soft." Bartyn said with a roll of his eyes. "Yeah I lied, I won't let any of you live."

[Selene Cross]

Selene smirked as she held up one of her Widow’s bites.

“And I made improvements.” Selene said as she pressed a button and several silver disks appeared on the floor next to several of Bartyn’s men. “And I was stalling.” She pressed the button shocking the men to unconsciousness.

[Ethan Talon]

"Right now there are a dozen quantum torpedoes aimed at this station," Ethan lied. Inwardly he swore to himself that he hadn't thought of that before. "It's over l. No matter what happens here the Erebus is out there to stop you. I would prefer Captain Sunstrider wait until you try to escape, but I guess my death won't be in vein."

Ethan crossed the room, "You dismiss me as stupid, but... well you cannot win this. It's over."

[Bartyn]

"You're good." Bartyn said as he tapped a few commands into a wrist computer. "But... you're going to have to better if we cross paths again. He removed a blade and cocked his head. Widow... you work with decent people. Too bad they won't have much time left."

[Ethan Talon]

Ethan shrugged, "I may be a Marine, but I'm a cowboy, a rancher, an officer, and that woman you maimed for whatever sick twisted reason is my wife, and I was smart enough to marry the most beautiful woman in the galaxy. But, that's not something someone like you can understand. Your life... you are pathetic." Ethan tried to use the ijulna again, but he couldn't harness it.

[Bartyn]

Bartyn could feel the stirrings of the Iljuna in Ethan and he smirked. "You're strong... like your mother. But pathetic is storming onto a station before you got the proper intel." he tapped his forehead. "Should have waited for the Black Widow... maybe you wouldn't have lead your men into a death trap." he lifted his scarf and called his ship. "This is Bartyn... you may fire when ready, we got what we came here for. You aren't the only one with friends on the outside."

Just as he said that a large wedge shaped starship decloaked.

"Was nice seeing that this reality still has a fairly decent Black Widow... too bad this is the last time you'll see me. Or anyone else." Bartyn said "One to beam out."

[Selene Cross]

Selene didn’t hesitate she pounced onto him, yanked down his scarf, and kissed him hard on the lips. Her lipstick was laced with a sedative but just to be safe she took Bartyn’s moment of confusion to dial up her guntlet and send a charge right through his neck.

“You always underestimate me Clint.” Selene smirked as she held the charge until he passed out.

She fished the secondary com unit from a pocket.

“Rommie!” She yelled into it.

“I’ve been monitor and have a lock.”

“Ethan get your men out of here. Rommie two to beam back and prep for heavy sedation and high level containment.” Selene ordered.

“With a side of get the hell out of here?” Rommie inquired as Selene disappeared in the blue hue of a transporter beam.
