"So... rattle her cage enough?" Olivia said as she opened the car door and glanced around. "That guy was looking at your butt." she said as she slipped her glasses off and glanced at the sky and slid into the driver's seat. "You plant the bug in her purse?"

Rebecca slid in next to her, and pulled off her glasses, "No, she's cagey. She never gave me an opening to slip in the bug, but we don't need it. Just look for the dark cloud following her around. She's not a happy camper right now."

Olivia glanced in the rear view mirror and touched up her lipstick. "All my years as a spy tell me that woman likes this part of town, as fancy and upscale as she is, she doesn't mind getting a bit down and dirty." she glanced around. "And other than the guy that was looking at your backside, no one seemed to overly shocked by a well dressed woman in heels, blue collar as this may be, clearly they're used to people like you going in and out." shifting the towncar into gear she pulled out and drove past the restaurant again. "She's really tearing into that meat... I pity Porter tonight, she's going to be your stand in you know." rolling past Victoria's car she tapped a button on the dash and a small Miki ball dropped from the bumper and rolled down the street until it found a spot under her car. "Miki can plant the bug, we need to know if she IS actually Ajem or just working for another one. Of course, now that she suspects that you're onto her... she may be even more secretive or she may just go 'fuck it' and stop hiding. But I think she likes her position, the power it gives her without having to raise a finger. I may not have your senses but I've been trained to be a spy since I was old enough to hold a weapon and crawl through ducts."

"No, I think she's exactly who we think she is. She's really good at hiding it. So well, I even started to doubt it. And coming out with a 'fuck it' attitude isn't really her style. I would be shocked if she did. Though, I suspect I just painted a target on my back. 'Storm's a'comin.' Yeah, you bet your ass it is. If that wasn't a thinly veiled threat, I don't know what is."

"She actually said that?" Olivia laughed "Wow, although... there is one coming, heard it on the radio but... that's hilarious. See, this is why you got me as an escort. Not that you couldn't take care of yourself, but I think you're needed. Besides, I have plausible deniability, you're my 'Aunt' and I'm just giving you a ride and scoping out places to perform. Oddly enough my kids didn't have a problem with me being your shadow. I thought Lana would protest, but then again she was just getting close to Grandpa Leo, so she understands and little Vin misses his Poppa Leo. They did kind of raise him while I was Jackson's captive." she looked at the buildings as they drove to the shuttle port. "I didn't notice it so much on the way in but... those characters on the building, that's old Jase'dasis writing isn't it? It's disguised as just artwork, but I recognize it from the lettering on those books dad's been studying."

"Yeah, it is," Rebecca said thoughtfully. "It's a blending of ancient Cardassian, and another even older language, that supposedly came from the first Jase'dasis masters to land on Monastery. They brought as many texts with them, as they could and tried to rebuild their Order here. Unfortunately there were ancient Ajem'dasis texts as well. Eventually that gave rise to new Ajem'dasis from our own order. The the schism between the first Ajem in the galaxy nearly destroyed the order completely. This new Ajem took the name of Darth Revan. A name from the ancients.

"After the Ajem defeat they fled the Cardassian system. We don't know what happened to the remaining Ajem, but we think at least one landed on Earth."

"No doubt close to wherever Underwood was before they colonized out here." Olivia mused. "This place is like a mirror to Terra Alpha, sure it's got some nice areas and you can tell they copied a lot, but... there seems to be a lot more 'rough and tumble' out here. Not that we don't, but this colony isn't THAT old and yet some of these buildings look like they've been run down already. Our run down is by design, but this is run down." she cocked her head as she looked at her. "Wonder if this whole place is full of Ajem'dasis. Sort of a 'Nice Little Town Called Malice' situation."

"Entropy does some unusually active here, but I can't sense any Ajem. Of course my senses could be overloaded here."

"Which is why I came, Jase'dasis sense and spy sense." Olivia winked at her. "And mom sense." she glanced at her dress. "Angel's been replacing your old wardrobe huh? Looks nice. I'm... sorry to hear about J'Larin. Only other woman besides me that could freak my dad out like that in a dark room. Never did teach me how do that just appear out of the shadows thing."

"I figured this called for a bit more professional look than jeans and boots, and the Jase'dasis robes attract way too much attention."
