"I'm here luv..." Jon said as he squeezed her hand. "Bartyn attacked us... blew up our house... and nearly us."

"I'll give you two some privacy. We'll be just outside if you need anything," Rebecca said. "And in the meantime I'll find out who's in charge and see what I can do to help them in finding Bartyn."

“Where...” Bella said and licked her dry lips. “Where are we?”

"Compound Medical Center." Jon said as he rolled over to look at her. "They pushed our biobeds together. I just woke up a little while ago... Sandoval kinda did some weird thing that took my pain away for a bit... I don't feel like a human pin cushion anymore."

[Isabella price]

“That makes one of us.” Bella said as she moved her head to looked at him and winced. She raised her fingers to the side of her face and the deep scars from a burn.

“Well that’s unfortunate.” Bella said as she lowered her hand. She didn’t allow herself to think about what other damage her body had suffered because of Bartyn.

"You still look beautiful." Jon said as he put his other hand on her's. "I think... there was a lot more extensive damage to both of us, but especially you, I heard... something about nearly losing both of us more than once."

[Isabella price]

“Yeah well we’re to busy to die.” Bella joked, her chuckled sending pain shooting through her abdomen. She rested her hand on it as she waited for the pain to subside.

“I’m not stupid.” Bella began softly. “I know...it feels different.”

"I... think... I think we lost... " Jon couldn't bring himself to say the words. "You had part of the door in... there." he pointed to her abdomen.

She squeezed his hand as tears fell down her cheeks.

“Bartyn took everything from us.” Bells said fighting back the sobs she could feel coming. “I want him to pay and anyone who had a hand in his escape. I don’t care how small or how innocent. Someone helped him.”

"We'll find him. I promise you that my dear" Jon said and looked into her eyes. "I vow that I will see Bartyn and Dominus' threat ended."
