Queens and Queens

[Marissa Windsor]

Buckingham Palace --

The royal guards had left Queen Marissa, Governor Victoria Underwood and Councilwoman Abbygale Porter alone in the study, it was decorated in recreations of past artifacts and furnishings that were lost when the Imperium attacks on London had destroyed much of the city, including the palace and surrounding buildings. But the Royal family had kept detailed scans of literally everything so that it could always be re-created and rebuilt. Something they had done since the 20th Century.

Marissa stood in front of the window looking out over the newly rebuilt London, she glanced over her shoulder. "Victoria Thorne... who would have thought, that two young women that had done so many debauched things in our youth, would be standing here, a Queen and a Governor." she looked at Abbygale. "At least you made better choices in mates. Fred was an asshole." her accent slipped a bit and she smiled. "Long time no see 'darlin'"

"Your southern accent is dreadful milady Windsor." Victoria said with a smirk. "Worse than Ashley's. Abby, I may as well tell you, the Queen and I go way back."

"Not THAT terribly far, we're not THAT old... or are we?" Marissa put her finger to her chin. "Your girlfriend was quite the wild child in her younger days. Met me in London at some random loft party, we were doing lines of some Bolian drugs off a Chinese girl."

"That Chinese girl is the queen of a porno empire, Ting Zi Lang, she's on Starbase Byron now. I think her latest stuff is pretty lame compared to what she used to do." Victoria shrugged her shoulders. "Course, she was usually so high back then, now she runs a tea house and a brothel and spa... weird combo but she's rich."

"Shocking. I really didn't see her actually making something of herself. Unlike you. First Fred, now Miz Porter. Well, I'll make our meeting brief, yes I will buy whatever from New Georgia, you'll get whatever you need from us. I support my friends and yes Miz Porter... we'll do business with Terra Alpha. Win wins all around. Now... " She handed Abbygale a glass of wine. "Tell me more about you. Vicki here has said diddly about you other than she's in love with you, which is typically enough but... what DO you want out of life? Clearly not children. I can't say I blame you. There's so much pressure on me to have an heir. Otherwise it goes to my brother or sister. Which doesn't scare me, but I have yet to find a mate that suits me. Male or Female. We're progressive now." she handed Abbygale a padd. "What do you need to achieve your goals. I have the entire United Kingdom at my disposal. And... I have told Victoria that while I may not have the gifts my sister has, I have one thing she doesn't. Power and influence. And that I believe is your power as well. We speak the same language. Of course, the way things are here on Earth, you could very well be a queen here as well. Many countries are going independent or at least considering it. I managed to consolidate the old UK to be sovereign again, with more power coming from this office than in centuries past."

[Abbygale Porter]

Abby shrugged, "That is an interesting idea. I'll keep it in tje back of my mind."

"I never quite wanted to be queen, but here we are. I was apparently the first Queen of England to not wear a bra for her coronation since well... before they invented the bloody things." she pointed to her chest. "My doctor found a lump, apparently the Imperium's clobbering of London also meant there were a lot more toxins in our food and water supply. Attacked one of my lymph nodes, not cancerous but I had to have one of the girls removed and until only the past year I could actually get it reconstructed, but it's sensitive as hell. I have no idea how long I really have, not the only one either, but despite what my siblings say of me, I'm a bitch in heels because I know my time is short and I really do not want to waste it. My choice of Lord Chamberlain only lasted about a week before he had to get a growth the size of my fist removed from his leg. What we really need from Terra Alpha and New Georgia is infrastructure upgrades, we managed to do quite a lot with what we had and what we can replicate, but there are some things we simply cannot." she sat on the side of her desk and looked at Porter. "You did a lot for the Trill and Xenexians after their Imperium occupations, we... need the same. Earth is in worse shape than the Lei's let on. Than most let on. Imperium wasn't lying when they said that some of the non native life on this planet was hurting it. There are parts of Europe that are pretty much uninhabitable by native Terrans without vaccines, because the plants they grow do not work very well with our bodies. And... there are heavy rumors that this... Dominus that has been making all kinds of hell for your people... is looking at making Earth his next conquest. I didn't get myself sick rebuilding the UK to see him wipe it off the map."

[Abbygale Porter]

"I think we can get something done. You stand as a counter to the Imperium, which most people on Terra Alpha hate," Abby said.

[Victoria Underwood]

"And your last name isn't Lei." Victoria added. "The Emperor has been spending quite a bit of time on Terra Alpha of late, I think he is trying to figure out just what kind of ruler he is going to be now that his mother is dead."

"Which is giving me plenty of time to establish myself." Marissa said with a smile. "Ashley and George as well. I'm not so stupid to know that if anything happens to me, one of them will get the crown. Although I do think what you are doing with Ashley is good for her. The lady needs confidence, which you are giving her."

"More than that." Victoria said with a smile.

"She's been getting far more comfortable using her abilities. I've also been supportive, as much as I can be at least, without it being 'too' suspicious as to why I went from calling her a freak when she was younger to being supportive." Marissa sighed and crossed her arms. "She looks up to you two. More than she's probably ever looked up to me."

"We're not her sisters, we're her friends... you're familiar, we're still new." Victoria said and put her hand on Abbygale's back. "I know we've both missed having her around while she's been here helping you out, but this is also part of her training. Or rather, re-training. We need to teach her to be more... dominant, less submissive. After being Dominus' bitch for so long, we need to awaken that inner fire in her."

[Abbygale Porter]

"I think you've done that," Abby said to Victoria. "Though to be honest with all things considered she wasn't a wilting flower."

[Victoria Underwood]

"Oh I wouldn't have chosen her if she was, but she still has a ways to go." Victoria said and whispered. "And before she can stand up to someone that Bellatrix trained.":

"Or any of the Jase'dasis," she countered. "You think we'll come into conflict with Bellatrix? Our goals don't seem to have an overlap."

[Victoria Underwood]

"I wouldn't be shocked, she's from another reality." Victoria said and shook her head. "Honestly I would rather work with the Jase than face her alone with who we have currently."

[Abbygale Porter]

"That's an uncomfortable thought," Abby said with a frown. "If you do help the Jase you'll have to do so secretly I suspect."
