"Computer, load Sandoval, Erebus Deck 23 section O."
The computer beeped in response and the bridge vanished to be replaced by the flight deck. The open design stretched the length of the ship and was nearly as wide as secondary hull. Support facilities including a sickbay lined the sides of the deck as fighters, runabout, and gunboats filled the space.

"There's no need for a launch system," Rebecca replied. "There's plenty of room to land and take off. Hangers are on deck 20, and that allows for us to carry a standard 100 fighters and other support craft. A full complement can be pushed to 150, but it makes the flight deck far more crowded than is comfortable. Ordinance magazines, and fuel storage tanks are on deck 24."

"Then we need to ensure the resupply system runs smoothly, especially when loading explosive ordinance and fuel." Natalia nodded her head. "Although I still like the idea of a rapid rail launch system at least for deploy, literally fire them out at speed before their thrusters kick in."

"Then we'll have to do some simulations," Rebecca suggested. "I don't think we need to complicate things, but superior is superior."
