The Way Out is Through

[Clint Cross]

"I like making sure it's right the first time so I don't have to deal with it for a while." Clint said with a chuckle. "Years of living on starbases, apartments and other random transient places, it's nice to put a nail in a wall and know its going to stay there." he glanced at Selene. "Actually have a home. Something neither of us really had."

[Mac Calhoun]

“Yeah yeah just remember you have another one to rebuild after. You can take your time on that one. It’s not like Eli is ever going to let Jon and Bella out of the depths of the Compound ever again.” Mac said and glanced at Selene. “Besides I’m sure you need more motivation now or are you more motivated to finishe it?”

[Clint Cross]

"Well I would like to spend more time with my new partner than dealing with construction." Clint replied with a smile. "Y'know there's still plenty of land if you and JT want to be 'land lubbers'."

"Dude... I'm not giving up the houseboat. For... reasons." JT said as he looked at Mac, picturing topless sunbathing.

"Whatever floats your boat." Clint teased.

"Oh a dad joke... man... " JT rolled his eyes. "Alright, we've got a mission to run. So Decker's really letting us 'borrow' her people?"

"Hey, they're bored for actual field work. Throw 'em a bone. Make them feel like they're helping us, even though we do most of the field work." Clint said and gestured to his office. "Reports don't write themselves. And i'm the boss so y'know... gotta set a good example for you yahoos."

[Mac Calhoun]

"Yeah sure you're going to go write a report." Mac said with a roll of her eyes. "We need to go for a drink some time."

[Clint Cross]

"That we do indeed." Clint said and chuckled. "And yes I'm going to write up what we did and then head out of here at Warp 5. I still have bosses technically."

[Mac Calhoun]

"Yeah you're related to them." Mac said with an eye roll.

"It does't mean they'd be less harsh." Selene said matter of fact.

"Fine go write your reports." Mac said dismissively. "JT and I will go prep."

[Clint Cross]

"You can see why she's my apprentice." Clint whispered. "Girl takes no crap from no man." he said as he watched her and JT go. "So yeah, the reports... don't really take too long." he handed her a padd. "Basically any observations, how many Scions you took down, whatever you remember them doing and whatever you feel like putting in about the kid. It's cover our ass in case she crops up again, that we knew about her. Otherwise, they'll think we're hiding something else and that gets everyone leery. We had a massive problem with Imperium spies within our agencies not long ago, and then Scions. This... keeps the politicians off our asses." he glanced down slightly. "I have other things I'd rather be on that about."

[Liara]

"Like what?" Selene inquired as she typed on her padd.

[Clint Cross]

"I was trying to do a double entendre..." Clint chuckled. "Nevermind..." he sat down and quickly typed up a report of what he saw. "So how old would you say that kid was? I'm kind of horrible at aging people, I mean... former President Ryder is in his 60s, but he looks like he's younger than me. His mother's getting really close to a century."

[Liara]

"Sixteen." Selene said as she looked up over the top of her pad and smirked. "I'm more straight forward... I'd rather be screwing you in your office."
