[Liara]

“You think to highly of me Noonian.” Selene said as she holstered her gun. “Even in death I’m still to afraid of him to pull the damn trigger.”

[Khan Noonian Singh]

"Is it really fear? If it was fear, you would have unloaded that clip into him. I think it is a rejection of his training. Mine was similar in that regard. We did come from a reality that was ruled by a Terran Imperium, might was right, etcetera etcetera. I treated my daughter much the same as he did you. BUT like i told him, we were created to be an evolution of humanity, smarter, stronger, superior in almost every way... except in how we treated others. Oh we would fight and die for our friends and those like us, but that is why we lost. That is why our kind were banned in nearly every reality by some form of the Federation or Imperium. We were unstable, we forgot what it was to be human. Not simply rulers. We may have longer lives, stronger bodies, but petty minds and hearts... then what good is that?" he sighed heavily. "The very things he considered 'weak' about you, I consider strength. True strength. So... let him go. I'll dispose of him, so no one can use his genetic matter for cloning or whatever."

[Liara]

“And you were wrong...” Selene said as she took one last look at her father. “I don’t see him when I look at you. Your eyes are different.”

[Olivia Ryder]

"Always thought Noonian had nice eyes." Olivia said as she pushed a gurney. "Cece sensed the death and I came prepared." she winced slightly as she slipped a little on the polished tile floors. "Never should have worn heels today..." she muttered. "Before you do, whatever Noonian, we need something." she crouched down and pulled out a device from her pocket and severed Khan's hand. "I was reading something inside of there, I think it's deeply implanted. Clint... something for your science team to figure out." Liv said as she put the hand in a cryo box.

"Still giving me a hand eh Liv?" Clint teased.

"God that's such a dad joke." Olivia rolled her eyes and looked at Selene. "I think you deserve a drink and some debriefing."

[Liara]

“I’d settle for that sunset if it’s not to late.” Selene said looking over at Clint. “Unless we really need to debrief.”

[Clint Cross]

"We can debrief after the sunset." Clint said and nudged her arm. "I think we both need a 'debrief' after this." he put his arm around her shoulders. "Still a little time before sunset... "

[Liara]

“Back to your place then to change and then New Honolulu?” Selene inquired leaning into him.

[Clint Cross]

"I think that is entirely a good plan." Clint replied. "We ARE supposed to be on vacation anyway." he raised an eyebrow. "And there's a couple of swimsuits that Selene bought that I have no idea how a human being can fit into."

"Oh there's ways." Olivia said with a smirk. "Of course, who said they were swimsuits?"

"Ohhhhhh..." Clint slapped his forehead. "That's it... nude beach."

"That's the way to go." Olivia agreed. "Hey Selene, offer stands, you need a break from Cross, some spy girl time, T'Kir and I can help you get riggidy riggidy wrecked.'

[Liara]

“I’ll keep that in mind.” Selene said with a as she took Clint’s hand and squeezed it tightly. She was ready to be somewhere away from her dead father and out of armor.

[Clint Cross]

Clint took her hand and nodded his head. "Let's get changed and then... enjoy the rest of our time off... maybe we can extend it a day since today is kind of a work day."

"And that Olivia... is my daughter." Noonian whispered to her.

"If I didn't know you still had Selene in a tube three floors below us... she's different but perhaps this is a good thing." Olivia replied and looked at Khan's body. "Well, you're lifting him. That's the rule you know, if your dead alternate is on the ground, you pick 'em up."

Tapping his personal transporter on his wrist, Clint beamed directly back to his house with Selene in tow.

"So that was pretty messed up." Clint admitted. "I'm curious as to what's on that chip Noonian gave me, but I'll look at it later. Whatever's on there will keep a couple days."
