[Cece Ryder]

Cross House --

Cece was sitting in the Workshop testing out some of the new comm equipment they were setting up for Liara and Clint. Sitting cross legged on a workbench as she worked on a holographic display she saw a comm come through on their personal frequency.

"Selene or Clint. I'm in trouble. I need help." a child's voice, shaking with the timbre of guilt and a hint of sadness.

She raised an eyebrow at the message. The voice had a slightly familiar voice, then it hit her.

~ Clint, Liara... come to the Workshop... the girl you met, she's asking for your help. I think you need to take this comm.~ Cece messaged them telepathically.

"This is Cece... one moment please while I get them for you." she responded to the comm and a smirk formed on her lips. Either this was a Dominus trap or... this was the edge they were looking for, and she was betting on the latter.

[Órlaith]

"Uh hurry," she said with an edge to her voice. "If I'm reading the sensors correctly I think I'm a few minutes for Alliance space. I would appreciate it if your patrols didn't take exception to that... and mother's people might be following me."

[Cece Ryder]

"I already got you on sensors and you'll have an escort in a few moments." Cece replied. "Just make sure your weapons are powered down, but your shields are up. Your people fire on you and you're not at least shielded, kind of on you." she said with a slight smirk. "I had wondered when you would be asking for Liara and Clint's assistance. When your escort arrives, proceed to the coordinates I'm sending you and then wait for a transport."

[Órlaith]

"Uh... how do I do that? I've just been telling the computer what I wanted, but I was told I needed to do something before I could raise the shields," Órlaith replied. Her voice was strained and you could tell she was in way over her head.

[Cece Ryder]

"You are half of my grandfather and you don't know how to pilot a shuttle?" Cece said with a slight chuckle. "It's alright... give me... there." she tapped a few controls and then took control of her shuttle. "I just owned your controls. Goddess those are weak security protocols on the helm." Cece muttered. "Or Clint's got better brute force hacking tech built into his stuff."

"I got good shit kid." Clint said as he walked over to her. "Your little self programmed it."

"No wonder." Cece said as she hopped off the workbench.

"Hey... kid. We'll take care of ya... you got this far, we'll get you the rest of the way. Provided you're serious but I've been listenin' in. Your nervousness isn't that easily faked." Clint said as he slid behind the console.

"You do realize that you're kind of my Aunt, technically. Dominus was my father's father. Didn't entirely feel good to be 'killed' by your big sister. But dad did manage to get a bit of payback for me." Cece said as she slipped her ballet flats back on and operated the shuttle with a holographic display. "So tell me... mała ciocia... (little aunt in Polish) how many did you kill to get this far?"

[Liara]

“She can share numbers when she gets here.” Liara said matter of fact. “Orlaith...we got you. They can’t hurt you anymore.”

[Cece Ryder]

"I'm just trying to gauge how pissed off Dominus and Bellatrix are going to be." Cece replied. "But we'll worry about that once we get her to safety." she set the auto pilot and the SHIELD escort shuttle managed to keep a close lock on Orlaith's. "Alright... we're nearly in range, once we beam her out we'll beam in a bio dupe. Blow her shuttle and give us plausible deniability. AND YES... I've done this before..." she said to Liara

[Órlaith]

"I... uh... I don't want to talk about it, but mama will be very angry I'm sure. I probably shouldn't have come here, but I didn't know where else to go."

[Clint Cross]

"You made the right call." Clint replied. "Whatever you did... you probably had good reason... besides, their days are numbered, but you still got your whole life ahead of you."

[Órlaith]

"My life has already ended," she replied. "All I have done has brought that curse upon you."
