[Clint Cross]

"You know how many people have said that to us over the years? Lots." Clint replied. "Besides... we'll give them reason to think that you're already handled. At least for now. You're still a kid, granted a kid with training and experiences that a kid your age shouldn't necessarily have... but you still deserve something of a childhood."

[Órlaith]

"I.. uh... I guess thanks, but how many others had Bellatrix and Dominus gunning for them?"

[Clint Cross]

"Just let us worry about that." Clint replied. "Alright you're in range... the package should be beamed onto your shuttle now. And prepare for a beam out." he said with a half smile. "This is a good thing." sliding the controls forward on the console in front of him, the transporter beamed Orlaith to a shielded section of the workshop.

"Just a precaution until I've had a chance to 'clear' you. After all, this wouldn't be the first time an enemy has come to the Alliance for sanctuary only to turn immediately." Cece said as she walked over to her and then turned to Clint and Liara. "She killed her brother, but she's clear. As clear as anyone like us can be that is."

"Then we can take down the shield." Clint said and glanced at Liara. "Welcome to our home. I suppose there's room for you here. Just don't flirt with my son, he's got a girlfriend already."

[Órlaith]

She looked at Cece with a surprised expression, "How did you know about Ian?"

[Cece Ryder]

"Telepath." Cece said with a small smile. "Clearly your sister didn't give you a full briefing on me, considering she probably thought Underwood killed me after she delivered me wrapped up in a bow to her."

[Órlaith]

"No one gave me a briefing. I... Well, other than Ian I think they all hated me. Especially Ophelia. She knew I hated killing and she used me to do it," Órlaith said with bitterness in her voice. "Not that that absolves me of my sins. I am a murderer, and there's no place here for me... I suppose there's no place anywhere for me. Too evil for civilized society and not evil enough for killers and rapists."

[Liara]

“You’re not the only murder in this room.” Liara said as she stepped closer to Orlaith. “You belong right here and don’t let anyone tell you differently including yourself. And if Clint hears you say it again he’ll slap you. He doesn’t like that kinda talk.”

[Órlaith]

"What the truth?" She said with a raised eyebrow.

[Liara]

“I think you belong right here and I think you do to otherwise you wouldn’t have called us.” Liara said with a slight smile.

[Clint Cross]

"And I don't make it a habit to hit kids or women... now your big sister, I have no problem knocking the spit outta her." Clint replied. "You... maybe upside the back of the head." he chuckled. "But yeah... this is probably the best, safest place for you until all this blows over and then we can figure out your next step. Good thing there's that spare room up in the attic level."

"There's an attic level?" Cece replied.

"Yeah, just in case Selene and I got lucky with kids more than once, there's two rooms up there, right now they're just storing Cross Archery swag bags. There's like literally a dozen sets of Cross Archery luggage sets... I WAS planning on having an Olympic archery team..." Clint cleared his throat. "Still might someday." he looked at Orlaith and squinted his eyes. "Y'know, you almost look like my sister did when she was younger, suppose we can say you're my niece. I think she did put one kid up for adoption when she was having some... troubles."
