"She is a woman of intense emotions and passion, it's what I love the most about her." Jon said and put his hand on her shoulder. "At least you're making an effort."

“In other words she’s exactly like her mother and you have no idea what she’s going to do.” Selene said as she looked up at him.

[Jonathan Price]

"In other words yes." Jon said and shrugged his shoulders. "I've seen her get more than a little... weird... when Selene was all mind controlled and then returned. In her future, she came back here to save well... her mother from being a murderous rampaging killer. Of course, that all changed, there's no Imperium anymore and there's no Bloodstone."

[Liara]

"And no mother." Selene said as she looked over at Bella. "I'm not Selene Cross...we might look the same but we aren't. We were both assassins but we had different lives. I could never been her and I could never replace her. Yet...sees something beyond the face and I don't know what exactly that is. I just know he's happy and it's what his wife wanted him to be."

[Jonathan Price]

"Selene, I've dealt with a lot of people that are just like you. Same face, same name, different person. And let me tell you, there are things about everyone that remain a somewhat constant. There's a Mayor that has four versions of himself, including a female version... apparently the X turned into Y in some reality, raised the same way, anyway... while all are incredibly different people, there are still some core parts of all of them, that are similar and it's those traits that people either like or dislike or love or fear. I'm raising children that have grown, alternate future counterparts and while so similar, they are so different. Things that one finds hilarious, the other maybe just cracks smile if anything. You're all your own people, and Clint... Clint's a man that's seen a lot. So has our Selene. Hell, half the security we have here is in case she went rogue, we wouldn't have a death toll in the double digits. Which she HAD done. Or at least, I'll consider it 'another version' of her did. The Selene that I considered my mother in law, is not the same Selene that killed a half dozen Secret Service agents."

[James Cross]

"You get used to the long winded speeches." James whispered as he walked over to Selene and smiled as he cocked his head to the bathroom. "Dad's getting Kaitlyn cleaned up, that face cream Alice left is super handy for marker. I wanted to go as Batman for Halloween... so I tested out the eye black, turned out that 'eye black' was actually a paint for guns... it took days to get out, but that face cream, ten minutes." he rolled his eyes. "You look happy. Always a good sign." he glanced at Bella. "C'mon chicken... she's not going to bite, she's in a dress. I miss mom too but... she's needs friends too."

[Isabella price]

"I am not a chicken." Bella said matter of fact. "And Mom could kill someone in a dress James don't be so foolish.

"She's right." Selene said with a shrug. "I could kill all of you and not lose sleep over it. Except Clint wouldn't be happy about it and I like Clint."

[James Cross]

"Well I would hope you'd lose a little sleep over us... we are kind of cute." James said as he nudged Bella's arm. "So.. you really like our dad... now I'm starting to understand some of those stories of how they met worked."

[Isabella price]

Bella rolled her eyes.

“I do.” Selene replied honestly. “He’s a good person and I enjoy working with him. We make a good team.”

“So did my mom.” Bella replied matter of fact. “Did it ever occur to you that maybe he’s only interested because you look like her?”

"And I look like JT. You look like Selene too Bells." James reminded her. "She needs a home too... and if mom was still around, well... she'd be like an Aunt or something. Hey the whole family is weird. Go with it."
