"Yeah, she's got the Kitea, Nathan's got the command office on Byron. Something about he's been in space way too long, he's aging more than her. So she's going to 'get old' for a minute." Nick chuckled. "I think she just missed having a bridge to herself."

"I can relate." She leaned in and gave Nick a peck on the cheek. "Glad to see you're still upright. You and Alice are welcomed to come to my apartment for dinner. Kim is always asking about Gale."

"Really?" Nick chuckled. "Well we'll have to make a play date then. I was going to ask you... given that the Iljuna is strong in the family, I kind of want to see if Gale is exhibiting mastery of in those abilities. I know he's going to be pyrokinetic like his mother and I, he's already got the chemical forming, want to give him a way to control it when he's young enough, just in case it manifests and his mother and I aren't around to help him or... absorb the pyrokinetic energy." he glanced at Bella. "She's taught him a few target practice thing, kid's awesome with a Nerf gun or a squirt blaster."

"That's not really in my wheelhouse, but I know someone who might be able to help with that," Rebecca said. "But, you're right he does need the ability to control his powers. He might be the most powerful ijulna user in the galaxy."
