[Liara]

“K’n’zy was too. I figured it was just to have a few moments of peace without Jackson bothering her.” Liara as she slowly reach out a hand to pet Coulson. He sat perfectly still as she scratched the top of his head. “You know I’ve never had a dog. I’ve only really seen them in pictures or from far away. He’s from Xenex right?”

[Clint Cross]

"Yeah, I think so. He's pretty rare." Clint replied and smiled. "Really? Never had a dog? One of the agents used to tell me stories of how they were assigned dogs during training. I always wanted to be a K-9 agent, but I was more useful in sniping and explosives. Plus... half my old training unit was allergic."

[Liara]

“Jackson wiped them out.” Liara said as she scratched him behind the ear. Coulson seemed to understand her words and his eyes looked sad for a moment. “They’re probably a lot smarter then we think. If he felt that threatened by them.”

[Clint Cross]

"Brethren wiped them out from what I heard because of that same reason. He also does a great job keeping our rodent population down." Clint said and sat on the bed. "Seems like you're experiencing a lot of firsts lately."

[Liara]

“Not bad ones.” Liara said with a small smile.

[Clint Cross]

"I'm glad I've been there for those firsts." Clint said with a smile and looked around. "Now where did we toss my pants?"

[Liara]

“Who needs pants?” Liara said over her coffee cup.

[Clint Cross]

"Left a communicator in there, should charge it." Clint said and looked at his shorts. "Not like Kait or James or Cece haven't seen me in less than this before."

[Liara]

“I think they got kicked under the bed.” Liara said as she sat her empty cup aside and continued to pet Coulson. “What you think Coulson? I agree I think he should come back to bed too.”

[Clint Cross]

"Well if you're bringing the dog into it..." Clint climbed into bed next to her and wrapped his arms around Liara. "You are going to make it so damn hard to ever go back to work."
