[Liara]

"I wouldn't know anything about that." Liara replied. "Should we try it?"

[Clint Cross]

"Not particularly." Clint replied. "Unless you want to take a breather after we go back to actually being intelligence agents." he chuckled as he ran his hand across her arm. "I mean hey, you're on the receiving end. Course, we could just be close and make out and I can continue finding ways to make you shudder with just a touch." he wiggled his eyebrows.

[Liara]

"Apparently Selene taught you a thing or two." Liara said a she let out a shudder. "It's dirty using my techniques against me."

[Clint Cross]

"Well some of them aren't in the same exact spots. But hey... once we fixed what was stopping her from having a baby... we had to get more careful. So that meant a bit more planning. When I could and couldn't rock her world..." Clint said with a laugh

[Liara]

"Well we don't have that problem." Liara said replied with grin.

[Clint Cross]

"That IS kind of an upside. Although I suppose anything's possible, even if it's more test tube and science. Down the road of course. Kaitlyn keeps me on my toes enough." Clint said as he pulled out the drawer from his bedside table. "Thankfully these weren't lost in the fire." he pulled out her baby book. "I thought she looked like a tiny pink potato, that got me a slap. But a perfect tiny pink potato. She got big fast. I think she's definitely got more of mom's side of the family. Her dad was HUGE. Like easily six foot five. Whole family was tall. Bartyns were short. Mom was always out of dad's league. Just like everyone tells me you're way out of my league. But the funny thing, those are always people who are hardly even close to being in your league, they're just jealous."

[Liara]

“How are you out of my league Cross?” Liara inquired. “If anything you’re out of mine. I’m child compared to you where experience is concerned.”

[Clint Cross]

"I dunno, you've got experience where it counts.. just the soft skills and other things that you're still learning, which is honestly kind of fun. You forget how interesting some things are after a while, takes a child or someone from another world to make you appreciate them more all over again. Hell, I used to take my communicator for granted until I met a race that never quite figured out long life sarium krellide power cells that last months, they had to charge their stuff like... daily, sometimes twice daily. Not at all useful in the field. Although I haven't charged my comm since before we left for New Honolulu and I had that long call with Kaitlyn a couple days ago."

[Liara]

“I do enjoy discovering new things with you.” Liara said as she wiggled free of Clint and reached under the bed. She pulled up his pants and fished out his communicator. “Told you under the bed.”

[Clint Cross]

"Thanks." Clint took it and popped it on the charger. "Oh hey... found this while we were walking. Someone must have lost a pearl ring in the beach, looks old. I'd say it's a nice souvenir of the trip."
