[Liara]

“So...when do we leave?" Selene inquired with a wicked twinkle in her eye.

[Clint Cross]

"Well then we can start heading out. I just need to get into 'work clothes' and get our gear." Clint replied and gave her a smile. "This should be fun."

[Liara]

“You have a suit you wanted me to try.” Selene reminded him as she stood. “Unless you want me to go in civilian attire.”

[Clint Cross]

"It's in the locker room already." Clint said with a wink. "Not that I haven't seen a version of you absolutely destroy a guy in just a t-shirt."

[Liara]

"God Clint! Try to control your thoughts." Mac said as she got up. "Come on JT let's go. I need to lay down."

Selene chuckled softly as she watched them leave.

"Imagining me in just a t-shirt were you?" Selene inquired with a raised eyebrow as she leaned against the conference table.

[Clint Cross]

"She wanted to prove that she could take someone down without any gear." Clint replied. "Sexy as hell."

[Liara]

"Ah." Selene said as she pushed off the table and walked over to him. She leaned in close and whispered into his ear with a smirk. "I've done it naked."

[Clint Cross]

"Seen that too." Clint whispered back. "T-shirt was just so your naked ass didn't end up on the HoloNews... unlike mine. If you do a search for 'archer butt cheeks'... "

[Liara]

"I'm going to have a very hard time surprising you." Selene said sounding disappointed.

[Clint Cross]

"It's all about timing." Clint whispered. "It's how after years of being together... the fire never really went out... always ways to surprise me. Course in our line of work, surprises usually involve weapons being drawn from somewhere. " he rolled his eyes. "New Years Eve... horrible time for spies. We hear pops and guns, knives and the nearest person to the sound get tackled. They love their fireworks here, but then the kids end up getting their paws on some and all of us veterans of so many crazy nights... " he shook his head. "There's a reason why we made a house out in the middle of nowhere. If I hear vehicles or footsteps at night, I know it's not the only other people in the house. Except for when Bella and Eli were still dating and dude didn't call ahead of time and I'd be in my underwear on the balcony with a crossbow."
