[Liara]

“Clint did ask but I told him you had to be okay with it first.” Selene said with a smile.

[James Cross]

"I'm entirely fine with it. On two conditions." he held up to fingers. "One, you actually y'know... love our dad. And two... you hang with us too. I know you're not mom, but I'm a pretty good judge of character and you seem to sorta be less... what's the nice way of saying, you at least sorta know who you are. You're not trying to 'stay in character'. Our Selene had so many different personalities and personas and versions of herself that I think she wondered where she started and ended. Felt bad for her, you and her have been given such crap. Not even allowed to enjoy ice cream, that's messed up man."

"I doubt she's even had bunny pancakes." Clint chuckled.

"Oh we'll have to introduce them to her." James said with a grin. "Don't worry they're like somewhat healthy. Somewhat."

[Liara]

“I do love your father.” Selene said as she meet Clint’s eyes. “I’m still really learning what that is but it feels right to say it. And no I’ve never had bunny pancakes. Are they made with bunnies?”

[James Cross]

"Wow... she did live a sheltered life." James shook his head. "No, they're just shaped like bunnies. Sometimes he makes them with chocolate chips."

"That she did... and yeah... I love her too and I think we're going to have a very interesting journey ahead of us." Clint said and looked at Kaitlyn. "So what do you think? Selene hangs out with us when she feels like it, maybe sleeps over?"

[Liara]

Kaitlyn nodded her head yes.

“And you already have my answer.” Selene told him.

[Clint Cross]

"Then it's unanimous." Clint said and kissed Selene on the lips. "Told you they'd warm up to the idea. Now... I think this deserves ice cream."

[Liara]

“With sprinkles.” Selene said winking at Kaitlyn.

Kaitlyn giggled happily and wrapped her arms around Selene.

“Woah. Umm. Okay.” Selene said as she grabbed a hold of her so she wouldn’t fall.

“Liara.” Kaitlyn said happily hugging her tightly.

[Clint Cross]

"Y'know that name IS kinda catchy. Liara... Liara Lanara..." Clint said as he pulled out the ice cream and bowls and the toppings. "If nothing else it's a good nickname... or alias. Still, I always thought my mom's name was Sophie when it was really Erica, so kinda used to that."

[Liara]

“You sure you don’t want this back?” Selene asked him as she tried to hand Kaitlyn back. Kaitlyn shook her head no and held on tighter. “I thought you said their was going to be a warm up period. It’s attached.”

[Clint Cross]

"Yeah... that's pretty stuck there." Clint chuckled. "Guess she's all your's now. Unless..." he shook the container of sprinkles.

"She's been doing that a lot more lately, I call it 'velcro mode'." James said as he pulled out the spoons from the drawer. "Wow, Rommie even put everything back where it should be. Nice... y'know I like the new kitchen. I wasn't sure about it when you said you wanted it facing another direction."

"Told ya." Clint winked. "Listen to your old man for once huh? Kaitlyn, you want just sprinkles or sprinkles and whip cream?" he held up the can. "I'll even let you put it on."

"Oh that's a bad idea..." James said with a wince. "She'll use the whole thing."

"We have plenty of extra... was going introduce Liara to the concept of milkshakes later." Clint replied. "Y'know that name's kinda growing on me. Good job kid."
