Temp Fix

[Liara]

Selene stopped suddenly and looked at him.

“How do you know?” She inquired as she looked into his eyes, searching.

[Clint Cross]

"Because you're open to new things, because you're have this spark in you... I love being around you. And we've kind of been having sex pretty much every day, multiple times a day and you still keeping coming back for more, so... if that isn't love..." Clint chuckled lightly. "And... I am really looking forward to seeing you build a life for yourself and i want to be there with you, at your side through all of it."

[Liara]

“Hmmm...” Selene said thoughtfully as she started walking again. She took another drink from the bottle and offered it to Clint as they finally reached the beach. The moon was still shining brightly across the ocean’s surface. Besides the late night adventure seekers the beach seemed empty.

[Clint Cross]

Clint took a swig and capped it again. "So is that a good 'hmm' or a bad 'hmm'?"

[Liara]

“I don’t think it’s a bad one.” Selene said. “I’m just thinking about what you said. I’ve never been in love and I’ve never been loved. I don’t know what love is.”

[Clint Cross]

"Easiest way to explain it is... when you care more about another person's happiness than your own, that being with them is more important than being apart."

[Liara]

Selene nodded as the started along the beach.

“Wow.” She said giggling slightly as she wiggled her toes in the sand. “It feels...it’s weird but soft and pleasant. I don’t know how to describe it. It’s just... I like it.”

[Clint Cross]

"First time you've walked barefoot in the sand? Wow... girl you were sheltered." Clint chuckled lightly. "Never built a sand castle? Should I ask if you ever... played in the snow?"

[Liara]

“I’ve never played in general.” Selene said as she looked up at him. “Will you show me how to build a sand castle tomorrow? If that’s something you like doing.”

[Clint Cross]

"Of course." Clint nodded his head. "We may be adults, but who say's we can't play? Having kids has taught me that much."
