"Okay.... so now what?" Órlaith said uncertainly. "I'll not give you the 'dirt' as it were on my family. Even if they do want me dead. Without loyalty I have nothing. I also won't be used as your personal assassin. I will not kill innocents. As evil and crazy as they are I won't directly kill my family, though I will if it's in self-defense."

[Clint Cross]

"Given your age... I wouldn't want you killin' anyone anyway." Clint replied. "Unless it's absolutely necessary of course." he crossed his arms. "What we want from you... to be a kid. How old are you anyway?"

"A couple of months, but I've been aged to 17 or 18," she said with a shrug like that was inconsequential. "I got those 17 years of experience too. It's all part of the process."

[Liara]

“Sounds kind of like Solara.” Liara said with a slight shrug and grinned. “Have you ever had strawberry ice cream Orlaith?”

[Clint Cross]

"Oh you're gonna make her an addict..." Clint chuckled. "I think we're going to need to stock up on that. Y'know kid, I just want you to have a chance to be a kid. Besides any intel you can give me will probably be outdated anyway because Dominus and Bellatrix are so random anyway. What may be the case for a minute may change the next."

[Órlaith]

She nodded slowly with her eyes being the only indication that she had relaxed the tension she carried. "I did not know that such a substance existed, " she said with a sigh. "It's not something essential to survival."

[Clint Cross]

"I dunno... from the way this one gets possessive around her strawberry ice cream, it's essential to MY survival." Clint gave Liara a wink. "You'll get used to our weird sense of humor and non essentials. Although if you drink all the coffee and don't brew a fresh pot... because that kid is essential to survival." he chuckled lightly. "C'mon, let's find you a place to sleep while we figure out if I can get a mattress up those stairs without transporters."

"Coffee is also non-essential, and caffeine is not good for you," she replied.

[James Cross]

"Bite your tongue... this whole government runs on caffeine in either tea or coffee... the Presidents Price can't start their day without at least one pot of tea." James said with a chuckle. "Hey... if you want, she can have my room for a few days while you get her set up. I kinda forgot I promised Kassie and Jason I'd help them with the baby's room. She's due any time now."

"Why do they want you to help?" Cece raised an eyebrow.

"Beeeeecause I'm a good painter and I can assemble stuff without it falling apart." James replied.

“And Mackenzie is going to be there.” Liara guessed with a grin.
