Another Crashed Car

[Nick Ryder]

"Yeah small fry... it's time to learn a little of what we adults call, self control. Like how daddy's a secret agent only certain people know only a tiny bit of what daddy knows." Nick explained. "Like how I keep my kilden hidden. Although, I don't have it with me. I still have my skills and that's going to be enough. BUT we don't tell everyone or show everyone exactly what we can do. To anyone else, we're just a normal family, nothing special. Even though your mother IS a goddess, but she can dress down... and well... she still makes my heart beat three times as fast but we're going to have to be low profile... uhm... low profile is not drawing attention to who we are, I know you love to make new friends, but now isn't the time. Just stay by us and follow our lead. And listen to whatever you mommy tells you. Okay?"

Gale nodded his head as Alice took him and secured him in the truck.

"I love you." Alice told Nick as she kissed him softly.

[Nick Ryder]

"I love you too." Nick replied and smiled at her. "I surprised you a little didn't I? That I'd just let you and Gale go off and not go with you?"

[Alice Ryder]

"I planned I for both options." Alice informed him. "Of course you still don't know where were going and I've planned for that and I've planned for you deciding you're bored an want to come back. I planned for being alone. I very much like that plan where you're with me."

[Nick Ryder]

"Well you should know, I can always find something to do, I never say 'I'm bored'. Even without tech." Nick replied. "And I'm sure we can find ways of amusing ourselves when Gale's asleep..." he winked his eye at her. " I entirely trust your planning... I'm not the only tactician in the family."

[Alice Ryder]

"Good. In the truck Mr. Ryder." Alice said with a smile. "And try to make it look like we're out for a drive."

[Nick Ryder]

"Not that hard to do." Nick glanced at Gale. "Last time I took him out in the truck, he was a lot smaller. Now he can actually see out the window." he climbed into the truck and raised an eyebrow. "I hate this thing, feels like riding on a high chair."

[Alice Ryder]

"You might just like this plan after all." Alice laughed.

[Nick Ryder]

"I'm kind of liking this secretive thing you've got going on... " Nick said as he pulled out of the garage and looked around. "Alright so... Clint's disaster zone?"

"He almost has it back together." Alice said and smiled. "I hear he may have motivation now but yes Clint's house."
