"Or a combination of everything but I do think there is something they don't necessarily want us to see and don't want us going there with anything that could pose a huge threat." Angel said as she slipped her glasses on. "But they don't know me very do they? I'm remembering our very first day together as Admiral and Ensign." she closed her eyes. "I can smell a conspiracy a light year away."

Rebecca shrugged as she ducked through the airlock and into the yacht. "This is different. I haven't had a quest start like this in sometime. Well Admiral, I'll take up engineering unless you need a pilot."

[Angel Ryder]

"Yeah always wanted to take the Erebus's yacht out but never had that opportunity. I've only taken Trinity Two out a few times, I'll fly her, controls are set up for my hands." she held up her hands. "I remember making a helm configuration on the E while we were getting her refit after your Gorn first officer was killed. I keep flashing back to that." Angel said with a sigh. "Every year on All Soul's Day, I write his name in the book. As well as those that I've served with. Every year it seems I write more and more names. You were right, no matter how many I lose, doesn't get easier. Just simpler to write the condolence letter from memory." she glanced at Yoshi. "I get very nostalgic when I'm around Aunt Becca."

"Completely understandable." Yoshi said as he took up a science position. "I can sense she's rubbed off on you and you have rubbed off on her. As any good master student relationship evolves into. The teacher learns from the student while the student emulates the master."

"And this is why I never got full bore into the Jase'dasis... even though I am pretty sure I am capable of using it."

"You didn't spend enough time with Master Ja'larin," Rebecca replied as she slid into the the engineering station and entered commands. "She was on the Erebus when we were pulled into that rift at the Pythus Sector's destruction. It wasn't 19 year difference that you observed, but we were still stuck in it for a considerable period of time... which in there time was meaningless. After a few... let's call it 'months' for lack of a better term, she gave me more training,
than just a simple course of how to control my powers so I wasn't a threat to others... Main power is coming online, warp engines are powering up. We have impulse power at your discretion Admiral," Rebecca reported.

[Angel Ryder]

"Thank you Admiral." Angel said with a wink as she released the mooring clamps and the Trinity Two gently descended from the Kitea's saucer and the nacelles extended. Tapping the comm she brought up the bridge. "Trinity Two is launched... have engineering get the panels in place and we'll be back as soon as possible. Standing yellow alert."

Glancing over her shoulder at Becca. "By the way if this does go completely 'tits up' as Malcolm Foster would say, I have a long range private networked transporter system built into this yacht and it'll link to the Kitea, if we need to cut and run. For all we know we're going to be going to a fully armed and ready for action ship instead of something that crashed with a crew that's rattled."

"This is Commander Alexander Tudor of the T.A.S. Zebulon Pike. We are tracking your vessel." The captain of the small scout ship that would be following them under cloak.

[Angel Ryder]

"Thank you Commander, maintain radio silence and full cloak and screen until we need you." Angel replied as they headed toward the swirling mass of clouds and gasses that surrounded the small system of planetoids the crash signal was coming from. Sensors were buggy but still clear enough to register that something large had a forced landing on the surface of a barely M Class planetoid. In many ways it was the perfect hiding spot, traditional sensors could easily be confused by false readings or delayed readings. But Angel had been developing a hybrid system with the 414th ships, that used a number of different technologies to get an accurate image of the space around them.

"I have no idea how the Romulans can say that there's nothing there... even IF sensors are wrong there's a ship almost as large as the Kitea... if not longer down there... I just can't get a fix on life signs or power readings until we get closer." Angel said as she piloted the yacht into the clouds.

[Rebecca Talon]

"I'll see if I can clear the sensors up," Rebecca said. "There, see if that helps at all. Watch the intake regulators. I siphoned some power off the cooling system to enhance the sensors."

[Angel Ryder]

"Ah that did it... " Angel pulled up a holographic screen of the forward sensors. "Am I in need of a new prescription for my glasses or are there over two thousand life signs on that ship?" she looked back at Becca and raised an eyebrow. "Now I know a lot of Dominus' ships had massive slave pens, basically human shields around critical systems, so we'd feel bad about disabling their ships. A whole "I didn't kill those people you did" kind of bull." she sighed and kept a vector that would allow them to turn if weapons were locked on them. "I'm not seeing any weapons systems armed, in fact most of the ship is either in low power or disabled."

"Let me see that..." Yoshi said and 'yanked' the sensor display hologram and enlarged it. "Oh this is good... this is very good. See right here, on this type of ship there's usually an reactor that pumps out massive amounts of power, they don't use dilithium for faster than light travel and it's usually practically glowing but it's inert, in fact I think their hyperdrive is pretty much dead, that's why they're there. Now... there are a number of smaller craft, but... hah... they landed the wrong orientation, they can't open their shuttle bay. BUT... that also means there are hundreds of battle ready soldiers waiting for us and they do have heavy cannons and missile batteries on the hull so for the moment they're a station not a ship."

"Well that's good and bad. Good because they can't chase us, bad... because if we want to get more than sensor data... we'll have to go down and if we want to end their threat, we need to take that ship out of the picture." Angel said and looked at the schematic of the ship and whistled. "Talk about a warship and I doubt this is their biggest one. So this thing you're looking for?"

"Dominus has portal technology that links him to the other realities and his counterparts, if we can get that from this ship as well as detailed specs... I think I can not only block Dominus from using the rifts to travel between realities at least from this reality, but we can also find a way to disable his new ships that he got from Bellatrix." Yoshi hummed. "You do look strikingly like Lady Bellatrix."

"And I look like a dead woman, supposedly my counterpart in Dominus' home reality was killed. Although I'm sure I'm not the only 'me' out there. Wait a fucking second... Ang'Jhu... my late counterpart... what if one of her counterparts survived, she was raised Romulan. What if there's a version of her here... I mean, it's crazy and there's a billion other Romulans in multiple realities that it could be but... I don't know if it's the Iljuna or just maternal instinct sense kicking in, but I've been thinking about Ang a lot lately, like this morning I was dreaming about her. I haven't dreamt about her in almost a year." she looked at Becca. "We've encountered weird enough before. Granted I'm pregnant and I doubt Dominus in any reality would allow his version of me to be out in the field pregnant, but what if this was the Romulan version that somehow is keeping this under wraps? Thing is... is Ang working for Dominus or against him and running her own mission?"

[Rebecca Talon]

Rebecca frowned, "So, do you want the bad news, or the really bad news?" He hand reflexively fell to the hilt of her kliden.
