"Oh promises?" Clint raised an eyebrow at her

“Yes, I might have promised a little archer that I’d bring her favorite Hawkeye back.” Mac said with a smile and wiped quickly at her eye.

[Clint Cross]

"Oh we'll make that happen." Clint said as he gave her a hug. "You two girls are still like daughters to me. I'd go through hell for either of you. I mean I wouldn't have let you take my call sign if you didn't earn it. Besides, I'm a Director now, I shouldn't be perched on a rooftop for hours on end with a bow and arrow anymore. I think you've surpassed me in a few ways, you can shoot for way longer than I can before I start getting sore and my aim suffers."

“Ah you’re just happy I finally learned to shoot left-handed.” Mac joked as she rolled right shoulder. There were some mornings when she still woke up with it stiff, almost losing it tended to have that effect. “Anyway since we’re in agreement Cross what do you want me to have JT do in the meantime? Set course for this system or wait for Decker? We might be able to get close enough to pick up something on sensors.”

"Yeah let's get at least close enough to observe on sensors but far enough that we're not a target." Clint replied. "If Nick and V'Pier designed this ship as good as they said they did... and i trust their gear, we should be a ghost, of course we're also dealing with fucking magical space wizards."

[Mac Calhoun]

“God not you too.” Mac said with a roll of her eyes. “Should we alert our Klingon friends?”

[Clint Cross]

"I mean hey I'm naturally a bit nervous of these guys. Hell I call up Nick Ryder that I'm a block from his bar... he's all "I know you're on your way. I can sense you." The fuck man... just pretend that you're surprised I'm showing up to shoot darts." Clint chuckled. "Yeah... let's hold the Klingons in reserve for a bit, they're probably going to be all 'Death to the Enemies' and just go charging in and our allies are going to be dusted."

“Will do.” Mac said as she stood and walked to the door. “Hey Clint, you ever think maybe he’s just screwing with you. You know so maybe one day he might actually beat you at darts.”

"Maybe although that bionic hand of his doesn't do him any favors." Clint chuckled. "Hey, if you see Tali, make sure she isn't replicating a million knives again. She made something like twenty of them earlier, I do NOT want to know where's planning on putting all those."

“Twenty? What the hell?” Mac said and sighed. “Now I’m starting to feel like a babysitter. You can reward me with time with my husband later. He looks far too attractive in that captain’s chair.”
