"Agreed, even though they're planet killers... they're still... sort of on our side. But they're not our primary concern." Jon said. "We should also be considering our evacuation plans, just in case. We may need to open negotiations with New Georgia, they're our closet habitable world. Loathe as I am to talk to Underwood. Still don't entirely trust her. But we may need to get civilians off our planet in a hurry."

[Alice Ryder]

"This is one of those moments I am thankful I'm no longer in your position. I do not envy you." Alice said sadly. "I do however wish you the best of luck."

[Jonathan Price]

"You two are entirely welcome to take over." Jon said with a wink.

"Nope." Nick shook his head.

"Didn't think so." Jon replied and sighed. "I'll suck it up and talk to the bloody witch. Anything else we need to discuss as a group here?"

[Alice Ryder]

"I'll send you a bottle of scotch when you're done." Alice offered.

"Deal." Jon said with a smile. "One thing that I have been thinking... well more dwelling on lately, we have no idea how long any of us have. After our capture and now all this. I want to do more together with the rest of you, even if it's just dinner here at the Compound. Or we sneak out and go to Nick and Alice's. I'd even like to see more of you around here too Nicole."

"I'll try." She replied. "Of course, would Naval Intel think that we're getting special treatment?"

"Invite me too... I'm single." Clint said with a half hearted chuckle. "Well in my heart not really, but you know what I mean."

"Careful Clint, Decker may try to date you and then when Selene somehow magically returns... she's going to have your guts for garters." Nick said with a wince. "Trust me on that one. Why do you think Noella only resurfaced long after Ally was grown. Julie threatened to cut her tits off and make a hat out of them if she didn't 'leave me the fuck alone'. Spy wives... are dangerous."

"Hence why you got smart and married a scientist." Noonian said with a smile. "Speaking of... Noella. She's not entirely Terran either... " he hummed. "Alice, maybe you should get her involved in your study as well, given that she's the closest to Jack DNA wise being his biological mother."

"That may be a problem... we've got Noella in an undisclosed location." Jon looked at Bella. "I don't even know where she is really, do you? You always seemed to figure out where people went when we sent them to a secure location."

[Alice Ryder]

"I've decided since Bartyn I don't want to know anymore." Bella said with a shake of her head. "It was too tempting to do something stupid."

"I may not need it. I have his medical records and the twins." Alice said thoughtfully. "I can also pull hers as well. Of course I what I'm looking for may not be in there. Of course I'm not sure what I'm looking for but I'll start with what I have and go from there."

[Nick Ryder]

"I'll say it, I'm worried that if she's evolving, she could evolve past her physical form. There are races that when they achieve a higher mental ability, they pretty much ascend to a higher plane. As angry and confused as we are with her, we'd miss her if she continued to evolve." Nick said and sighed as he looked at his hand. "We're playing with powers that we have no idea of."

[Alice Ryder]

Alice reached out and took his hand.

“So we also look for a way to keep that from happening because I know for a fact that if that were to happen Jack could not follow her. Given his state of mind when Clint brought her in and he came for her it’s not something the galaxy needs to face.”

[Nick Ryder]

"Agreed." Jon said and nodded his head. "Whatever you need, just use it."

"Jason, Mac... you're welcome to hang at my place." Nick said with a half smile. "I'll even feed you guys. I'm pretty sure Kassie is on her healthy pregnancy diet right?"

"The woman measures everything and smacks junk food out of his hand. It's... kind of funny." Jon said as he shook his head and finished his tea. "That was a spectacular cheeseburger Jason by the way... didn't get to try the fries... Bella swiped those."

"So Jason... any names in mind? It would be kind of nice if someone named a grandson or grand daughter after me or Alice... just sayin..." Nick whistled.

“We haven’t decided yet.” Jason said with a grin.

“That’s alright one Alice is enough.” Alice said and elbowed Nick.
