"Oh I have a fully stocked bar in my quarters." Tali smirked. "Good stuff too, your Aunt Angel gave me her old portable bar. I've got a very high tolerance to Terran brewed alcohol, I enjoy it more for the flavor and the slight numbing effect on my telepathy."

[Mac Calhoun]

“Good I’m feeling like I want some whiskey and some numbing of my telepathy.” Mac said as the tubrolift doors opened and they stepped out. “Since we tried searching for my parents my telepathy has been weird. I don't know more sensitive I guess. It's harder to keep people out I never use to have that problem.”

"Kinsey said something about... evolving." Tali said as she lead them to her quarters. "I'll admit... mine has been a bit more lately too, I thought maybe it was because I was actually around more telepathics besides Jack and Kinsey counterparts."

[Mac Calhoun]

“Maybe I’m just using it more. I don’t know when I reached out, I swear it felt like a vail was lifted and for a moment I felt almost freer. Of course, then a planet exploded.” Mac said as they reached Tali’s quarters. “I never want to experience anything like that again. It still haunts me.”

[Tali’Zorha]

"I felt it too Mac." Tali said and snapped her fingers and the lights turned on. "I think we're all tapping into something very different. I don't know." she opened up the metal case and pulled out a couple of bottles and poured Mac and JT a couple glasses of whiskey. "My thought is our power isn't just our own, I thought I drew it from the Pit, but I keep wondering... maybe it was coming from my relationship with Korba. You would have liked him. JT kind of reminds me of him. A bit reckless." she poured herself a drink and sat on the couch and pulled off her boots. "Can I ask you something? When did you first start using your psionic ability?"

“On some level Jason and I always have.” Mac said as she sat down next to her. “We’ve always been in each other’s head.”

"Interesting, but you've never had telekinesis?" Tali said as she used her's to spin the bottle on the counter.

“Always seemed to be Jason’s thing.” Mac said with a shrug.

[Tali’Zorha]

"Interesting." Tali sipped her drink and crossed her legs. "Your father taking mental control of an entire population is new too. Although in a way... knowing what I know about the Siofrans, doesn't shock me. They're incredibly powerful, not quite Q but rumor had it they mated with them." she looked into her glass. "I keep wondering... if Korba wasn't actually a Xenexian. I've met other psionic Xenexians, but I've never 'felt' them long after they died nor have they been capable of destroying a planet. Most I could do is crack mountain facings and that took a lot out of me."

“Too bad we can’t ask him.” Mac said as she knocked back her drink. “This whole thing is giving me a headache and I thought time travel was bad or alternate realities. Have little versions of myself running around. Now you’re saying we might be more alien then we actually are. My mind can’t handle more than one revaluation at a time right now.”
