“Oh Rose would be nice.” Alice said thoughtfully.

“Actually...we were thinking about Selene if it was a girl. But we wanted to talk to you about it first Clint.” Jason said a bit shyly.

"I think I like that idea... Selene Rose Calhoun? Or Selene Rose Kaine?" Clint raised an eyebrow. "You two are never consistent with your last names."

[Alice Ryder]

“I think the kids going to be just as confused as everyone else. I think Kassie flips a coin and decides what to go with.” Jason said with a shrug and looked him in the eye. “Thank you. It means a lot. She meant a lot.”

[Clint Cross]

"Someday I'll get over losing her like that, but you don't 'get over' a woman like Selene." Clint said as he looked at his wedding band. "Starting to understand why Jack is so psycho and protective of Kinsey. If I could do what he does... I may do the same thing. Follow her into hell."

“Dad,” Bella said softly as she wiped at her eyes. “You still have me and Kaitlyn.”

“And me Old Man.” Mac said as she bumped his shoulder.

Clint smiled. "Yeah, you girls give a guy a reason to hang around. Although don't set me up with women... I think there's enough strong female role models for Kaitlyn... I'm sitting with most of them."

[Rebecca Talon]

'I don't know about you Mr. Cross, but I'm getting tired of always being a role model," Rebecca announced emerging from the shadows. A trick she'd learned from Master Ja'larin. "But, thanks for rescuing the others. Mr. V'per was most likely very ready to resume his own life, and there's only so much meditation one can do before a woman is climbing the walls. Pitty about General Mattis. I didn't expect anyone would die from their own hands. Not that I expected any of them to come back. So, What did I miss?"

"Or lack thereof." Nicole replied. "Jack did manage to 'save' Mattis, but honestly... the man hasn't eaten in a couple of fortnights and is probably on his way out, but at least he'll pass on Terra Alpha if nothing else." she said and slid her a padd. "For the record, I was going to send this to you and Ari... and I knew you were back, or at least your apprentice. I can tell when Arisu is back, I have all her safe houses bugged. Payback for when she did it to me." clearing her throat. "We were just discussing Kinsey and Jack and we've come to the conclusion that while they are probably a much more dangerous threat they aren't a clear and present danger to us now. If anything they're our... nuclear deterrent. Dominus threatens us, we call in momma and poppa."

"And we were discussing allies... so... how's the order doing?" Nick inquired.

"I think the better question is... can we count on the Order defending us? We're going to need all the help we can get if Dominus has a much more powerful weapon and threat than the Brethren at his disposal." Jon said and glanced at Bella. "Ophelia didn't kill her mother, take Kinsey and Cece simply to be a bitch."
