The Way Out is Through

[Clint Cross]

"Well, that girl was at least out of the thinking it's hilarious to run around without her pants on phase." Clint deadpanned and pulled out a small padd. "The President sent this. Those people are senators and congressmen. Kaitlyn burst into the room giggling and being chased by Kassie. Needless to say, nothing got done at that meeting. I doubt Orlaith would have done that."

[Liara]

“I meant me.” Selene laughed as she wiped at her eyes. “But the way Kaitlyn waves her arms Reminds me of you. What was that thing Tess said...? Party like a hawk star?”

[Clint Cross]

"Yeah." Clint chuckled. "It makes her laugh. She's a good kid." he nodded his head. "Same to you... and you're not a stray."

[Liara]

“I’m not?” Selene inquired looking at him with a raised eyebrow.

[Clint Cross]

"You're what we call a 'traveler', and now a resident." Clint replied. "You've got a home now. And you proved yourself to me." he cleared his throat. "And the wild sex for the past three days didn't exactly hurt..."

[Liara]

Selene nodded, “Speaking of sex where do prefer your post mission sex? Lucius usually liked it in his office after we debriefed. I found him less harsh once spent. But I’m open to anywhere you find enjoyable.”

[Clint Cross]

"Well your place is fine... after dinner." Clint rubbed his neck. "And some more pain killers. My back is still throbbing, doing a drop from two floors wasn't exactly awesome." he chuckled. "You know... you and I don't HAVE to do it. I'm not Lucius, using it to control you. I enjoy being with you."

[Liara]

“I sometimes forget you’re different.” Selene said feeling slightly embarrassed. “I have a lot to learn and more to unlearn. I...I do enjoy being with you Clint.”

[Clint Cross]

"Like I told you, it'll take you some time, but this is a good place to be." Clint replied. "I'm willing to put the work into it."

[Liara]

“So after dinner then...could it be an early dinner?” Selene inquired with a hint of desire in her voice as looked over at him.
