“I don’t think it has anything to do with it being a child. It’s more likely that it’s him only younger.” Alice told with with a small laugh. “I would feel a bit awkward as well.”

[Nick Ryder]

"Really? I'd kind of dig it. As long as it's an alternate version of me, wouldn't want to corrupt the younger version of me." Nick said with a smile. "Now young you... would be interesting. Considering she or rather you never really had much direction in how to use your powers or really control them."

[Alice Ryder]

“No thank you.” Alice said with a shake of her head. “One of me is enough.”

[Nick Ryder]

"You are a unique woman Alice Huntington Ryder." he said and leaned forward to kiss her again. "You're still amazing, I was literally burning up inside minutes ago... now... I'm calming down. Why is it that the lesson I should take away from all this... don't discount your partner. Jon and Bella tried to give each other space, neither was happy. They worked together, bam... they've got the old mojo sorta back. Jack and Kinsey... better together than apart. Us... same thing. I guess I'm still hardwired to think that I have to go all this alone. If I had brought you into the loop... probably would have hit this with a cooler head. Or we'd both be angry but we'd be angry together." he held her hand and looked into her eyes.

"We'll it doesn't help that I'm not a spy." Alice said. "But that's what you need it provides and outside prospective. Also, I would have served tea and as any good Englishman knows there isn't anything you can't solve with a good cup of tea."

[Nick Ryder]

"Or your calming presence. I'll make sure I keep you in the loop. Your home too." Nick said and smiled about the tea part. "I need more tea warmers and pots down there. They keep swiping them from up here, Kirby's had to reorder already. We've only been open less than a year. And it's not like I didn't buy this place already stocked."

"Have I turned you all into tea drinkers?" Alice inquired with a triumphant grin.

[Nick Ryder]

"You are something of a trend setter my dear. Especially your blend. Almost does the same thing for me coffee does." Nick said with a smile. "But yeah, you made us tea drinkers. And rose gardens are almost everywhere. It actually smells nice even by the dumpsters once they're in bloom."

"Other than when you're dumped into one!" one of the agents that came out of the kitchen said and rolled his eyes. "Sorry ma'am... sir...I kind of lost my badge in the dumpster Jack dumped me into. I... can't get into the elevator."

"You really don't need the badge, you're all biometric scanned. Just put your finger on the plate and look into the eye." Nick said with a roll of his eyes. "You'd know if you attended briefings Agent Wetherly..."

"Oh... right.. yeah... just so used to passing it on the... nevermind..." He slunk off and did as he was told and went down the elevator.

"This is why I'm fine with just having Gale... I have more children now than ever." Nick chuckled lightly. "Decker's rookies."

"They're so adorable." Alice laughed softly. "Come on Nicholas you packup the boys while I make some tea."

Nick pecked her cheek. "I'll do just that... and then we've got the whole house to ourselves. Maybe I'll show you some of my new undercover agent gear. Do a fashion show for you this time."
