[Joe]

"She might actually kill me I'm not as young as I use to be. But I'll tell you Cross I'm nervous and a woman hasn't made me feel that way in long time." Joe laughed as he pulled out two bottles of wine. "Two options for Thai. Riesling and Mocosato. You could go red but I personally hate warm wine and Selene seemed to always prefer whites. Riesling isn't as sweet Mocosato is sweeter."

[Clint Cross]

"She likes Moscato... that's always been kind of one our 'things'. Moscato and Strawberries. Until Jackson sort of ruined it for her. I still can't believe I'm doing this. Selene died in this bar and I'm about to have dinner with her alternate. Bella didn't take it super great but she's sort of in that 'if you're happy I'm happy' thing. Still, I'd be a fool if I didn't at least explore this. I really don't like dating and it's been long enough I've already had a few people attempt to set me up." Clint said as he took the bottle. "Let me know how dinner with Tali goes, she's pretty cool to talk with. Lady will talk your ear off."

[Joe]

"I will and Cross I know a thing or two about losing people you care about. I lost my wife and my legs in a shuttle accident." Joe said and waved his hand. "It was a long time ago but Tali does remind me of her. Dark hair, legs from here to there, and eyes you could get lost in. They aren't the same people I just have a type it seems. Anyway, I never thought I'd find anyone else or be interested in anyone else. Then she walked into my bar. Call it fate, destiny, or luck or hell maybe it's in my head but I got a date. For you, Cross it's going to be harder. You'll never get over your wife but that woman upstairs helps and you and I both know she'd be happy for you. She'd want you to move on with both feet forward. That woman up there might remind you of her and you'll find yourself forgetting she's not your wife at times but they're different people. What can you say Clint you've got a type and that type is Selene. Bella will come around and if not she's an adult and so are you and you already lost that woman once. You deserve a second chance and there hasn't been a person who hasn't hooked up in this bar that hasn't ended up married."

[Clint Cross]

"True... and mostly monogamous too." Clint nodded his head. "Look at Kassie and Jason. I really didn't picture that lasting and now... she's due pretty soon with his kid." he chuckled. "Yeah I guess my type is Selene, no matter what. I mean the thought DID cross my mind with Lyashev but then I saw with Agent Rickey... guy's like an Hobbit next to her but I dunno... you may have a point there Joe. Course, I'm not pushing marriage. If it happens, cool, but... I think I need her as Black Widow more than I need her as Mrs. Cross. At least right now. It took us a long time to get married the first time around and then the second... now... this is pretty good. And Joe... just be yourself around Tali, she can see through pretty much any bullshit."

[Joe]

“Oh, I know and that’s what I like about her.” Joe said with a grin. “We are in fact fools to love Clint.”

[Clint Cross]

"Isn't it great?" Clint said with a grin as he put his hand on the security plate near the hidden stairway. "Oh and if anyone's looking for me... I'm off world."

[Joe]

"Oh I'm sure you will be." Joe said laughing as he went back to polishing glasses.

[Clint Cross]

Clint walked up the stairs and balanced the box with the food and wine on his leg as he knocked on the door. "Hey Selene... I come bearing food!" he called out. "Hands are full."

[Liara]

Selene was already at the door when he knocked, she’d heard him coming up the stairs. She opened the door smiling at him.

“I might be able to help you with that.” She said, taking the bottle of wine.

[Clint Cross]

Clint nearly dropped the box when he saw her. "Wow... that... really looks good on you. Never saw it on actually, Admiral Angel sent her stuff all the time. Wow..." he shook his head and walked inside with the food. "So... I got what you wanted and a few other things you might like." he couldn't really take his eyes off of her.
