The Way Out is Through

[Clint Cross]

"How about after our debrief and... oh yeah... JT and Mac still have their mission to run." Clint slapped his forehead. "Eh, I can always call SHIELD in and have them be their back up. Decker's got more agents than we do that are bored out of their skulls." he gave her a look. "We could go back to my place, what there is of it at least."

[Liara]

“I have a feeling they may prefer it.” Selene said laughing softly. “And your place? You’re sure? I just got the feeling it was kind of off limits and not because of the construction.”

[Clint Cross]

"Well I've crashed at your's for most of the week... besides you can grab some stuff from the closets. Not like I fit into any of her stuff... " he chuckled. "I didn't give you that much really and I need to empty out the main closet anyway, contractor wants to put the upstairs safe room in there and build out a new clothes closet in a space he thought was 'wasted'. Figure I'd let you choose what you wanted. Don't want you to feel like I'm dressing you. Like I'm some kind of sugar daddy or something. And I want to show off some of the work. Bella and Jon can't come there yet, Secret Service won't let them."

[Liara]

“In that case I’m honored to be the first.” Selene replied Smiling at him.

[Clint Cross]

"By the way... we should really check on Tali and Joe... " Clint chuckled lightly. "It's been a looong time since Joe's been on a date. I really hope she didn't break him. Joe's kinda like family to us."

[Liara]

“She promised she wouldn’t.” Selene said with a small laugh. “Oh speaking of Tali...I was going to tell you about CeCe. We setup a safe house for her somewhere where you’ll be able to find her.”

[Clint Cross]

"That's good... at least that's one more person we thought we lost that we got back." Clint said and glanced at her. "You've never really met a Carly before have you?"

[Liara]

"No. K'n'zy and Jackson had no children." Selene said with a shake of her head. "All of Jack and Kinsey's children will be a new experience. I couldn't imagine Jackson fathering a child with her expect perhaps out of scientific curiosity especially if he found out what yours could do. K'n'zy seemed like nothing more than entertainment for him and on the occasion when he did seem bored with her he always flirtatious toward me. He always desired what he couldn't have."

[Clint Cross]

"It's kind of disturbing how many versions of people that I've come to see as family are utter assholes in other realities." Clint replied. "Still, Cece and Carly are good kids at heart, she was basically my Selene's Tali. The one that Jackson pretty much demanded be protected. Little girl's a hell of a system hacker, she can break into any computer, re-purpose anything into anything almost. Kinsey made me promise not to 'hire' her kids but they still help out when we have something that my adult techs can't get past. Mind of a child is a wonderful thing."

[Liara]

"And the easiest to exploit." Selene added. "They're innocent and they'd do anything if they thought they were being helpful."
