"Yeah, I opened up the back part of the roof and attic to be an observatory, got a telescope and astrometrics set up. I was sitting out on the roof not long after Selene was killed, just staring at the stars and realized just how clear of a view we had." Clint explained. "And... it's a good place to make out without waking up James and Kaitlyn... " he whispered. "Although the master bedroom IS mostly soundproof."

[Liara]

“Good.” Selene smiled. “So...I think Alice and Nick took your shuttle and Selene programmed something into Rommie. Maybe some kind of escape plan probably called Windfall.”

[Cece Ryder]

"It was Alice." Cece said as she followed them. "Found this." she had her padd and tapped into a security feed. "The protocol was good, but there was one camera on the grounds that was from the old system you had wasn't into what you had installed when we put Rommie back here."

"So Nick owes me another shuttle?" Clint chuckled.

"I'm going to try and get into the protocol and see, but it looks like an escape plan, something that would let her and Gale get to safety without anyone tracking them or finding them. They won't be found unless they want to be found." Cece said and then saw a message come through. "Wait a sec... here..." she snapped her fingers. "They're sending a message to you to distribute to the family."

[Liara]

“Or she just activated it.” Selene offered as she handed CeCe the paper. This girl was good she purposefully didn’t say anything downstairs because she wasn’t sure if she could trust her. But she was smart and even little Kaitlyn seemed to approve.

[Cece Ryder]

"Could be, haven't played it yet." Cece said as she opened up a door to one of the rooms. "I do think we need to keep this whole thing under our hats, that they launched from here. Clint, I'll get you a new shuttle. I've got a few dozen hiding around the planet. And I can always get into Grandpa Nick's garages. If they're gone for the foreseeable future, I think some of their stuff is fair game." she said with a chuckle.

[Liara]

“Agreed.” Selene said with a nod of her head. “They went through a lot of trouble to cover their tracks. Keep trying with Rommie...I don’t think she should have to mourn Selene twice. This time alone.”

[Cece Ryder]

"Right, she may be an AI, but she still has a soul... of sorts. Hey, I had been given the whole 'AI rights' speech from BECKI so often... and it's valid, if they can rewrite parts of their programming, adapt to things, even form attachments, then they're just as alive as we are." Cece said and sighed. "Besides, last thing you two need is her critiquing your sexual prowess... wondering why you're 'doing it differently'." she chuckled lightly. "I'll get her at least back to a couple days before the wipe, Alice and Kinsey are good at wiping data, but I've always been good at recovering it. Something my Selene always appreciated. You'd come back with a wiped PADD, I'd come back a few days later with the data."

"That was always useful." Clint nodded his head in agreement. "Although we did just use your younger counterpart, she wasn't the chief wrangler for the President and my daughter."

"Well, now I can be tech support... and live in nanny and bodyguard." Cece offered. "Kaitlyn and I already have a nice bond and Selene here is still getting used to actually being cared about as a person. Let me be the strong female role model for Kaitlyn, at least for now. Besides, I've spent the past couple months around a lesbian Ajem'dasis and her politician lover. I can use some more... innocence. Tali set up the safe house for me, if anything gets... wiggy... I take the kids there. And if Selene needs back up when you're not here. Or when she needs time alone and goes back to her apartment above Joe's." she chuckled. "Kaitlyn shouldn't be raised by Rommie anyways."

[Liara]

“It’s a good plan.” Selene smiled. “And thank you for looking at Rommie... I like her.”

[Cece Ryder]

"I like her too, even if she's the weirdest AI that I've ever encountered." Cece said with a slight smile. "She's family. That's something this group of people you've found yourself with, it doesn't take terribly long for us to consider someone family. And trust me, you'll get used to the 'two of them' thing, eventually. At least you're similar enough which is good, let's face it, outside of the family few really really knew Selene and why should they? If someone outside the family and the Intel teams encountered her, she was the last face they saw, or as Clint jokes..."

"They done fucked up real bad..." Clint nodded his head and laughed.

"Exactly. You're known OF but not really known. Hell, I'm pretty sure that no one believed Selene was killed, that it was some 'Intel black ops line of bull'. Fact that you look enough like her and can operate like her, helps. I can always feed you information telepathically, had to do that with your counterpart sometimes too. But I suspect you're good enough of an actress to play along." Cece winked her eye. "And... we've been known to work together enough, me hanging around isn't going to draw any attention or controversy. Like people thinking I'm Clint's new girlfriend and trust me, I know better to even think it. Too young for me anyway. I like them older." she whispered.

“Somehow I don’t think anyone would think that.” Selene said with a grin. “Anyway I guess let us know if you can restore Rommie. Clint’s going to show me this Observatory he apparently has.”
