TAS Eowyn -

Director Nicole Decker hailed the Viper as she approached under cloak. "Director Cross, if we're going to figure out what's happening, we're doing this together."

"Are you flirting with me Director Decker?" Clint replied back. "I'm still in mourning."

"Cute Cross..." Nicole rolled her eyes. "I'm being serious, if they are capable of destroying entire worlds in minutes, then we need to get as much information as possible before we call in the Fleet."

"Agreed." Clint said as he glanced at the holographic display. "We'll take point, we're the only one with psionics."

"We'll be your 'third man' ship, we'll hang back while you and the Ether do what you need to do, find out what you can. Engage only if you must. Once we know what we're facing, then I'll contact the Vice President and... rally until they can get assembled." Nicole ran her hand through her auburn hair. "This is all so bloody awful. "

"I know." Clint nodded his head. "Keep cloaked and maintain radio silence until we contact you." he turned to Mac and Tali. "If you sense Kinsey and Jack, figure out where they are, we'll beam them aboard into the secure brig and set up psi blockers and sedate them until we can get them to Terra Alpha, pretty sure Alpha Section has something that can hold them."

Meanwhile - Dominus' Baseship

Jack was staying very close to Kinsey, but as they moved through the ship, he started putting 'wrong thoughts' into the Brethren's minds, made them question the alliance with Dominus, started to amp up their own natural violent tendencies. Slowly but surely he was also putting distrust and hate of the Brethren aboard into the Acolytes and Goon Squad's minds as well. After all they had to be smart, if an all out fight broke out, they could destroy the whole ship while they were still aboard, they had to slip out in the confusion. But they also had a few targets of their own.

~ Kinsey... we play this Ophelia's way until all hell breaks loose.~ Jack told her telepathically

She nodded as she held his hand and squeezed it gently. They were finally going to be free from it all.

~ And we will leave this place together.~ Jack said as they got up to the command deck. ~ One more Brethren world... took out three so far. At least no one will screw with you or I after this. They'll fear us, which is fine if they leave us the bloody hell alone.~

~Agreed.~ Kinsey said as she smiled at him as they exited the turbo lift. She could feel the tension he was causing in the air even on the command deck it was like a powder keg waiting to explode.

“We’ve reached the fourth planet?” Kinsey inquired as they neared Dominus’s side. “The Brethren seem on edge today.”

"They shouldn't be comfortable," Bellatrix interjected overhearing Kinsey. "Tell me. You are Alliance. What will be their response to this? Who should we expect to pay us a visit?"

“Was,” Kinsey corrected. “And what could they do if they did show up? You clearly have the superior forces.”

"And yet, time and time again the superior force has been defeated by a better prepared smaller force. Are you familiar with Sun Tzu? If I know my enemy as myself I cannot be defeated. I intend to know my enemy, which includes you my dear. I am under no illusion that there is love for our cause on your part."

“We have a deal. I carry out my part and we go our separate ways. You leave us alone and we’ll leave you alone.” Kinsey said matter of fact. “I really don’t care what you and the Alliance do as long as it doesn’t involve us.”

"There's a problem when you break your word," Bellatrix said coldly. "No one believes you, nor can they trust you. Or maybe you are still loyal to the Alliance. Ryder's right-hand girl. You're a liar. When was it? When you swore fielty to the Alliance or when you gave your word to Dominus?"
