Clint and Selene beamed into the entry way and the Secret Service was already waiting for them. Eli gave them a quick scan and raised an eyebrow at Selene and then looked at Clint.

"She really does look like her." Eli said and cocked his head to the door. "Bella's waiting... I swear if she smoked, she'd be through a pack by now."

"Yay... nervous and anxious Bella." Clint winced. "Jon's definitely not getting shit done today."

"Already cleared their schedules. Kassie is pointing her belly at people telling them 'don't fuck with me, I'm pregnant and I can pop at any time DON'T MAKE ME POP!" Eli chuckled. "Kaitlyn has marker on her face... just fair warning. I have no idea where she found them."

“Obviously her father’s daughter.” Selene said with a smirk at Clint. “Eli, please thank Inara again for the tea for me. The proper serving was much better. She’ll know what I mean. We didn’t have a chance to talk long But she seemed like a very nice woman.”

"She's more than nice, she's remarkable." Eli said. "It's why I'm marrying her. She's still way out of my league."

"I know the feeling." Clint said as he glanced at Selene. "So, where are my girls?"

“Behind you.” Bella said as she held Kaitlyn. She stood in the doorway wiping at the toddler’s marker covered face with a damp cloth. Somehow she’d gotten into Bella’s art supplies and managed to draw all over her face with the one blue marker that wasn’t washable.

"Wow... that's almost funny." Clint said as he saw Kaitlyn and laughed. "Okay it is funny... let me see if I can get that off." he took his little girl and poked her nose. "Snot." he chuckled. "Color on paper not your face... "

"It's memorable, I already took pictures." Jon said as he approached Selene. "A pleasure to meet you."

“You too Mr. President.” Selene said with a warm smile but she could feel Bella’s eyes on her as Jon got closer. They were predatory and she recognized were the girl got them from and how.

"At ease dear... she won't do anything." Jon said as he saw Bella's face. "So Selene, are you fitting in well enough?"

“I think so Clint’s been helpful getting me setup. I still have a lot to learn and there is a lot I still haven’t seen yet.” Selene replied as she glanced over at Clint and Bella. Bella quickly turned her attention to Kaitlyn and Clint. “Clint’s going to show me around later.”

"Oh there is a lot to see, I'll confess I have barely scratched the surface of the Capitol City let alone the planet." Jon said and whispered. "Bella typically found ways of distracting me and we... spent our time together." he gave her a nudge. "I'm pretty sure that's happened to you too eh?"

“It has a lot.” Selene said smiling over at Clint. “He’s a good man. Be honest...do I stand a chance with her? Is she going to make it difficult?”
