Kind of, it used a version of Invision Board - which was then sorta merged with another forum software - but yeah I miss the old board but that software wasn't really developed for years now so they kept it on life support as long as they could. Tapatalk is basically running phpBB-ish too - but for some of the 'advanced' features you have to pay - I dunno phpBB is free as long as you got a host for it - which I do.

Yep - indeed. We don't have to censor ourselves quite so much - not that we did so much censoring but we don't have to worry as much

Switching between toons is a little more cumbersome, but I'm fine with this. It's not the forum software that's important. I ran the Erebus off of Yahoo groups for a bit until Carol got us moved over onto a phpBB
