one of the regions. I think these would be country sized areas, but without the individual governments.

I always sort of pictured Captiol City being fairly close to New Honolulu - like there's a bridge connecting it - it's still an island or even a pennisula - plus there's a desert that the Xenexian colony claimed. New Scotland should be more north...

Perhaps a quick pencil sketch, so I can get an idea of exactly what you are thinking. It doesn't need ro be exact, but is it one continent or multiple? The shape of the continents, and other than the Xenexian colony, a list of things that are missing. The world builder I used is some what limited, but I think, having made the bottom map, that I can do the world itself in illustrator now.

However, here's what I'm thinking. Swap New Scotland with the Coastal Plains. Add a region south of the Southern Lowlands, and make that the new Lowlands, and then make the Xenexian Colony where the lowlands is now. I can move New Hawaii east of Capital city, and using a series of islands you can have your bridge. However, starting over from scratch is always an option. That's the beauty of a work in progress. Everything is subject to change, and why I posted it here so I can get feedback, and make it right.

That's a lot closer to what I had in mind - still trying to figure out where the desert would be

Deserts are generally equatorial or on the interior side of mountain ranges. Here is what I am thinking. One it could be to the south of the Central Mountains, or on a separate continent

Yeah that could work - I always pictured it kind of semi-remote yet not terribly far from 'civilization' - like sort of Arizona or Nevada like - lots of deserts but still some "life"

I'm also thinking 'The Mount' would be a mountain near the coast not far from Capitol City.
