It Ain't Easy...

[Ashley Walker]

Rebecca scanned the station, "I'm transmitting the information to your terminal now."

Ashley was leaning over Jack's shoulder as it came in, "Surprise, bloody surprise mate. It's a right bloody mess we are in eh?"

[Jack Ryder]

"No worse than we've been in before." Jack said with a reassuring smile. "Kinsey and I have been in far worse spots."

[Ja'larin Yamour]

"Look out!" Ja'larin exclaimed. "From behind us!"

"Don't shoot!" A marine in full kit shouted his phaser extended peacefully. Six more heads popped up around him with grins on their faces. "The calvary's arrived," the first Marine said with an Irish lilt. He has Seargent's chevrons on his sleeve and a tuft of dirty blonde hair from under his helmet.

[Jack Ryder]

"About bloody time y'boyos made it here. Welcome to Starbase Hel's sickbay module... " Jack said with a smile and whispered to the Sarge "And protect this one... she's a VIP. They're all VIPs of course, but just a tad more VIP. I'll explain later."

[Ashley Walker]

Ashley narrowed her eyes at Jack with suspicion. She of course couldn't hear the exchange but, the looks between them was suspicious.

"Right'o boyo! Sergeant Kyle Dempsey at your service sir." He motioned with his left hand and the other Marines shouldered their weapons and started to set up the transporter enhancers around the small group.

[Jack Ryder]

"Transport enhancers... that's what I forgot to bloody create or steal." Jack said as he slapped his forehead. "Good on y'lot. Khan, Kinsey, J'Larin... as far as rescues go this is top notch. Even brought Marines."

[Dominus]

Command Deck

"Open fire when they are in range. I want to see their bodies in pieces." Dominus spat. "And get me the new arrivals... twist the knife before you fire."

[Ja'larin Yamour]

"Of course we brought Marines," Ja'larin shot back. We're going up against Dominus, not La'meckian Unicorn."

[Black ANGEL Alpha]

"Well, to be fair... the only Marine that ever came to his rescue was his brother." Kirby replied. "Who, I heard is dead... so... nice to see the Corps takes care of its own."

[Ja'larin Yamour]

"Lass," the Seargent started. "I cannot speak as to the Corps before the Imperium war, but it certainly has changed. We are a militia unit. Our division is lead by the Admiral's kid, and the President Ryder's granddaughter. We're doing things differently now, and one thing we ain't bloody changing is no one is left behind."
