It's All Fun and Games Until You Take a Beer Bottle on the Noggin

"Good, then it's settled. We have transporter authorization for the duration of the crisis. I suggest you use it."

[Trinity Talon]

"You going home at a decent time?" Trinity said with a raised eyebrow. "Or are you going to show the boys how to drink after work and not get smashed?" she chuckled lightly. "Just make sure you come home at least somewhat sober. Tonight the house is all our's. Old Lady is off visiting some family and now that Aunt Liv and Jena and her twins are out of the house... I'll let you make your own conclusions."

[Ethan Talon]

He kissed her, "No drinking for me. I have work to do, and fraternizing with the subordinates must be carefully metered. I'll be home as soon as I can."

[Trinity Talon]

"Good, I want you at your best... I was going to wait until next month but I think I'm still in that 'butter zone' sooo... anything could happen." Trinity said with a sultry tone of voice and a flirtatious wink. "I just need to let the staff know and grab a few things. Oh duh... before I forget again... bring that case of rifles we got in home with you, they're spares but we need them out on the West and South gates, those massive carnivorous hares are back and I don't want them around again. Last year we had to put some animals down because the carrion they left had some nasty bugs and got some of our animals sick. They aren't native either, some idiot got them and being hares... bred like bunnies. I donate them to the tribes."

Ethan grunted, "I suppose we could call it an ecological threat. Get the whole division out for target practice, and take care of the problem for good. And, don't we have enough rifles? The boys all have at least a pistol, and I have a dozen phasers, rifles, and shotguns in the gun cabinet."

[Trinity Talon]

"If I wanted holes all over the fences and buckshot and phaser burns all over the place." Trinity said as she reached into her pocket and pulled out her padd and brought up a few photos. "This is 'the great Hare hunt of '19'... not going to do that again. I want rifles with auto sighting and damn near sniper accuracy. Besides, Chief Blackhorn, you haven't met him yet, old as dirt... he told me 'if I wanted hare with holes, I would put them there myself'." she chuckled lightly and groaned. "Like gran'pa Nick always said, civilian applications of military equipment."

Ethan leaned out of the office and shouted at his orderly, "Private Wexler, run and grab Corporal Hennings. I need to you help Colonel Morris here with some rifles. We are transporting them to a local Committee of Safty." Which was partially true. Rural residents were expected to he able to defend themselves, and routinely banded together in units of that name.

The private nodded, "Yes sir."

When he had disappeared Ethan sighed, "This sounds a bit fishy, but there is a need. Let's keep track of them, and we can return them when we are done."

[Trinity Talon]

"Everything we've ordered has a built in tag, I can beam them back if I need to. Something mom and I developed, just in case we're ever in say... a pre warp civilization or in the past or something... something Starfleet should have developed centuries ago." Trinity said with a smile. "Oh and Ethan... don't bring anyone home with you tonight hmm?"

[Ethan Talon]

"When have I ever?" He asked curiously. "Well, not at this time of day anyway. David was the last person I brought home, and he's my cousin, and we needed a ranch foreman."

[Trinity Talon]

"Yeah and we know how that works out. Need to find David a girlfriend." Trinity said with a cross of her arms. "Mrs. Ackers doesn't count. Old enough to be his like... grandmother. There's that civilian IT contractor that's been helping out with our computers, she's cute, single, about his age. Likes horses."
