There was a single phaser blast, and Sharpe pitched forward. Behind her was a diminutive Narlin holding a phaser in her hand. "It seems the good director chose the wrong fight."

She took in their shocked expressions, "Oh, she'll be fine. Just stunned. She'll probably be planning my assassination though when she comes to."

[Angel Ryder]

"And our's." Angel replied as she stepped over Sharpe and crouched down and picked up her access card and wrist comm. Placing a small disk on her back, she floated up to the ceiling and was pressed against it. "Cancels the gravity equation, she'll be stuck on the ceiling until the power cell runs out. Leftover from moving that big beam at the blast site." she opened the door. "After you Agent Stormborn. Master Sandoval."

[Rebecca Talon]

"I'm glad you were here," Rebecca said.

A'mira shrugged, "lost a lot of respect for Director Sharpe when she chose to take matters into her own hands. The Alliance was founded on the idea of equality, rule of law, and innocent until proven guilty. You userp this, and you allow for the Imperium to grow here on Terra Alpha."


She swiped her credentials, and a door opened to allow them deeper into the Mount, and they followed the NI agent inside.

Rebecca leaned into Angel, and whispered, "Something stinks to high heaven. Sharpe going rogue? We need to warn the president. I can't help but, think this is just a small cog in a larger machine to over throw the government. Ic I'm wrong we beefed up security for no reason. If I'm right this could save Jon's life."

[Angel Ryder]

"Agreed." Angel nodded her head as she kept an eye out for agents. "At first I kind of agreed with her, we needed someone non family in charge of Homeland Intel, but she just... I think she's gone too far. Calling it 'SHIELD' was something dad wanted I think she did it to curry favor, but after how she was ready to just 'liquidate' Selene Cross... she's really not quite what we need." she held up her hand and put her finger to her lips. Walking carefully around the corner she leveled her weapon at an agent. "Admiral Morris. Sandoval. Stormborn... we have auth."

"The fuck you do." he said and pulled his own weapon. "You're all going to be in this hole for a very long ti..."

Angel didn't let him get another word out before she stunned him and shook her head. "Remind me when this is over, to slap Aunt Arisu upside the head for ever leaving this place. Like she couldn't contemplate her navel and be Jase trained here?"

"That's far enough ladies." An agent said with a slight English accent. "Now, I know damn well who you're here for and you not only took down Sharpe, but Agent Morehead as well... y'lot are dangerous." he said as he raised his hands. "I'm on your side... but you lot are liable to get snuffed before you get to her cell, there are fifteen agents on her plus at least four other hidden ones. You wouldn't even get to her door before the three of you are just dust in the ventilation system."

Rebecca glanced at Angel, "We can wait on the security team. And you are?" She asked the newcomer.

[Angel Ryder]

"Agent 74." Angel replied for him. "One of dad's from the old days of S31."

"Right-o." He said and shook his head. "In other words I'm one of his moles." 74 said with a half smile. "After we cleaned out things that first year of HI...he thought it best if we had a few agents that basically watched the others. That and Foster technically is my superior."

"So how are we going to extract her?" Angel asked as she crossed her arms. "We did design this place to be escape proof after Ally was shot."

"The Epsilon 84 protocol." 74 replied.

"What's that?" Angel raised an eyebrow at him.

"Not a what... a who." 74 said as he cocked his head. "This way..."

[Arisu Lei]

"Meet Epsilon 84." Arisu said as she beamed in. "Despite my better judgement, I let Nick give me full access to every section of the Mount. Just in case, apparently today is that day." she nodded to Becca. "Master. So... four of us against my entire Black out team. May the Iljuna be with us."

"Why do I have an even worse feeling about this?" Angel said as she looked at her ring on her finger. "If I die on this, Grandpa Leo and I will haunt you all."

[Julie Lei]

Meanwhile -

Julie was stripped to the skin and handcuffed to a table. An Interrogator was sitting across from her with a padd glaring at her.

"You're not doing yourself any favors by not being honest." she said as she glared at Julie. "Now tell us who was behind this and maybe I'll see fit to actually let you have a bed for the night."

"You know, in the Imperium, we used to break joints." Julie said as she shook her head. "I already told you, I have no idea who did this... I like Leo, hell he's one of the few Ryders that I actually enjoy spending time with."

"Well he's dead now and you were blamed in his murder... " the Interrogator said and looked at the padd. "So you told us absolutely nothing. Other than 'you didn't do it'. You do know that you're facing a sanction."

"What I would do in Sharpe's place." Julie said and sat up straight. "Although you know this is all bullshit right... I'm such an easy scapegoat, aren't I? C'mon... I've been a spy longer than you've been alive in two different realities."

"Not my place to say but you still brought this on yourself... you could have remained on Earth." the Interrogator said and stood up. "For what it's worth... when it happens, it'll be quick." she nodded and left the cell.

"Right. Quick." Julie muttered.

[Rebecca Talon]

"Quick?" Rebecca demanded the interrogator. "You make me sick!"

[Arisu Lei]

"I thought they made you Jase'dasis illegal." The Interrogator said and crossed her arms. "She took over Earth, millions died because of her and you think a quick death isn't kind?"

"Oh drop it." Arisu rolled her eyes and gave her a death glare. "This is crap and you know it. Karen."

"Interrogator." she said haughtily.

"Bitch. Okay... so the Admiral and the Mentor and the Dragon Queen are taking the Mega Pain for questioning and a real investigation and due process... and you're going to let us." Arisu said. "Unless you want to try out the newest in prosthetic limbs."
