Rebecca followed closely behind her keeping to the shadows. She used the ijulna to cloud the minds of on lookers. It didn't make her invisible, but most just failed to recognize the dark shape as anything important. It was a trick Ja'larin had taught her. Rebecca smirked, they had both used it on Nick.

Julie's well trained eyes glanced around the room and counted six Ajem acolytes, all carrying kildens. Combat moves flashed through her mind as she planned her attack in the split seconds before action. Decades of training combined with special direct brain learning technology had given her a pretty firm grasp of nearly every fighting style and form of combat. "C'mon... take me." she taunted before launching herself at one of the Ajem acolytes and narrowly avoiding a swipe by a kilden, but she managed to wrap her legs around the acolyte's torso and flipped him to the ground. A quick neck twist later and she used her bare foot to flip the weapon in his hand to her own and she gave one of the other acolytes a smirk. "Now I have a weapon too. Who's next?!"

Rebecca stepped forward and activated her kliden, "Surrender, and we'll take you into the order. Resist and you will die."

The nearest Acolyte charged her. Rebecca dodged his crimson blade, and plunged her own into her foe's back as he'd overshot her.

Amira was an expert swordswoman, even for a Narlin and she held off three acolytes expertly dodging. He sliver blade but a blur, and it stuck home upon an unguarded leg. The acolyte screamed in pain. The spurting of blood meant Amira had hit an artery. Already the acolyte had fallen silent as he twitched in a pool of his own sticky lifeblood.

"This is Kabuki theater." Nicole muttered as she fished a small device from her pocket and threw it in the air, which split into four parts and sent out high intensity stun beams at everyone that she didn't previously scan. "This is a distraction ladies and gent." she said and shot one of the Ajem in the head that seemed to resist the stun beam. "This is a distraction, if they wanted Lei dead, they would have killed her the moment she stepped out."

"Yes... I don't disagree. But, what are we being distracted from? Was the attack on Leo, and here a distraction to keep us looking on Terra Alpha instead of elsewhere? Or are they just distracting us here so they the can meet some nefarious goal? It's not like these acolytes are their best."

Still distracted as she worked out the implications of what they were working out she nearly missed contact with a Ajem kliden. She pushed the acolyte away and with practiced motion she took off his hands rendering him threatless.

"Exactly, they're cannon fodder." Angel said as she stunned the remaining Ajem, just in case. "Doubt questioning them will do much good, but they're rookies." she grimaced. "I need to check in with the Defense Fleet, see if anything else went down while we've been here. Arisu, help Director Decker, Aunt Becca... come with me. Julie... " she clenched her fists and sighed "If we don't put you back in the cell, would you assist them?"

"Ang... Admiral... of course." Julie replied.

"Fine. Director, put her to work." Angel ordered and tapped her comm. "Put Sharpe in the cell they had Julie in, we'll deal with her later. Kitea... two to transport to the bridge. You haven't seen my new baby yet have you?" she said to Becca with a smile. "She's kind of a nice merge of the Erebus and dad's Independence, at least internally."

Becky was there to receive them when they materialized on the transporter pad. She saluted, "Ma'am," she said bowing her head toward Angel. "And, ma'am will this ever get any less weird?"

"Absolutely not," Rebecca said with a grin.

"Wait until you're an Admiral and addressing other Admirals. It's weird and never gets not weird." Angel said and cocked her head. "Alright, so... Mount is slowly getting re-secured, Ajem took it over and presumably corrupted or replaced or Sharpe's been a mole for them for a while, either way, she's out. Nicole Decker is in." she lead them to the bridge and to an intelligence station. "No relation to the infamous Decker family. I trust her, she was one of V'Pier's assistants back in the day, was working with the British Starfleet Intel branch until the war. But... the whole thing with my... with Julie... it was a distraction. Not sure why but I suppose they knew that Noella would come down hard on her and that Sharpe would get heavy handed. Like she did with Kinsey when she was still a dual personality. Whatever it is, the bombing, the Ajem at the Mount, Julie being tied to it. All theater."

"There's another thing. The T.A.S Choctaw, and the NIS Astor confirmed that the T.A.S. Narla was attacked and destroyed as well. The Narlin Prime Minister declared the Emperor, the Empress, and the Princess Imperial dead about twenty minutes ago. Ambassador Starbreeze has been coronated as the new Empress."

Angel looked at her in shock. "That's terrible... " she then thought. "Shit... that alternate of my grandmother was on that ship with them... I barely had a chance to get to know her." she closed her eyes and shook her head. "That's why... they wanted to keep us distracted while they did that. Anything else happen while we were in Mount?"
