"Vengeance will be yours!" Hur'agha replied. "There is no more honorable quest. What would you have us do?".

They left the Klingons with a basic plan or more or less an idea to just keep any eye out for activity on Dominus. Anything that could lead them to Ophelia. Honestly, the trail had gone cold after they’d left Terra Alpha’s orbit. They’d been flying blind for some time, but no one wanted to admit it especially to Clint. Maybe with the Klingons they’d turn up something.

Mac stepped onto the bridge of their ship. JT was still sitting in the captain’s chair. It suited him and she supposed it always would. It was what he was meant to be no matter what time or reality he was in.

“You still look good in that chair.” Mac said at JT and held up her hand. “Good thing you stayed onboard there were knives and blood.”

"I had a feeling about that." JT said with a chuckle. "Thanks... does feel pretty good. Although still Clint's bird, but I don't mind taking center seat." he leaned over and whispered. "Although your seat on the other hand... I said it before and I'll say it again, you look great in those. And keep in mind I look at your ass a lot. So... " he cleared his throat. "I take it the Klingons are going to help us in this wild goose chase?"

“They are.” Mac said as she leaned against his chair. “Anything new while we were gone?”

[JT Kirk]

"Nothing spectacular. At least so far." JT said as he waved his hand. "Spent most of the time monitoring you guys down there. James messaged me though, kid's got a future that's for sure. I think he's going to be our boss someday. I mean he's kinda a young me but totally not me. I was way less responsible at that age. Hell I'm not that responsible at this age. Well other than the obvious." he held up his ring finger. "So level here, did you sense anything with the Klingons, think they're really going to work with us are or they playing at something?"

“Tali seemed to trust them and I didn’t get that usual sense of danger from them.” Mac said thinking it over. “No, I don’t think they’re playing us. I think they’re genuinely worried about Dominus turning on them next. Honestly, we need the help we’re coming up empty.”

[JT Kirk]

"They're keeping to another part of the quadrant and its not in any 'main' planetary masses that we normally monitor." JT said and sighed. "Yeah we need the extra ships helping us out. It doesn't help that Dominus is basically your grandfather but evil. When Nick was training me on how to work with the cloaking devices he developed years ago, they were light years away from what I was used to. I still feel like a caveman who was using skins and flint knives sometimes. And your dad... don't even get me started on him. I love him, but he's worse than Spock at going over my head. By the way, speaking of your dad. Hear anything from him? He's gone off the grid for weeks now."

“No but Jason said he the Prices had given him a mission to. I still can’t believe they’re raising Mackenzie and JC now. It’s weird.” Mac said as she shook her head and sighed. “I just wish I had something to tell Clint other than nothing again. I’ve been through him losing Selene once I couldn’t do anything then and it feels the same now. I thought by us coming it’d be different, but I still feel so helpless.”

[JT Kirk]

"And losing Cece." JT shook his head. "I always liked her, she gave me crap sometimes, but she helped get me set up when everyone thought I was Tiberius playing some con job." he looked at the viewscreen and sighed. "Well, once we leave this system I'll send a message to our other listening posts when we're in range and see if they picked anything up. If they're running silent it's only a matter of time before they do something. What was the line that your sister gave me once, 'when the twins are quiet... be worried.'"

“Yes, you should worry though whatever it was was usually her idea.” Mac laughed then sighed softly. “I should go check on Clint.”
