"So... now what are we to do?" Tali asked him. "I'm feeling lost and yet... like there's parts of me that I'm just... at a loss to explain.

[Mac Calhoun]

“I shouldn’t have been so reckless mating with you. I don’t mean that in a harsh way Tali’Zorha of Rayya. It was unfair to bind you to me.” Korba said as he kissed her hands. “As for what to do…we must wait.”

[Tali’Zorha]

"Until what? She evolves past her physical form?" Tali said and threw back another shot and sighed heavily. "Korba... I loved you and i don't regret anything. Even if you amped up my abilities and made my daughter and her children... well insanely powerful."

[Mac Calhoun]

“Unintended by product of our union and I believe it may have had the same effect on her mate.” Korba said with a sigh. “I honestly don’t know what will become of K’n’zy. She’s the first child between an ascended and a non-ascended. Interaction between us is forbidden.”

Korba cocked his head to the side as if someone were talking to him.

"I don't have much longer Tali." Korba said sounding a bit desperate as he touched her face. He didn't want to leave her.

[Tali’Zorha]

"Then don't leave me... be the rebel I know you always could be." Tali said as she put her hand his. "Jack... he's half Siofran. They're related to the El'Aurians. His father's grandmother was full Siofran as well. That... could have something to do with it. And the Ryder family is strong with the Iljuna. Supposedly Kinsey is too. Or is that your people the... Assholes?"

[Mac Calhoun]

Korba laughed, “Oh I have missed you my love and I will always be with you.”

[Tali’Zorha]

"I'm holding you to that." Tali replied."Well, when we get to Terra Alpha, her father in law is going to figure out what to do with her. This is beyond my paygrade as they say."

[Mac Calhoun]

He nodded and kissed her deeply.

“I can’t stay any longer.” Korba said as he pulled away and looked at JT. “M’k’n’zy will sleep for sometime I suggest you let her James Tiberius Kirk. And look after Tali. Goodbye my love.”

Korba pulled Tali in for one last kiss before he faded away.

JT looked up at Tali "That... was... weird."

"That... it was." She rubbed her heck and closed her eyes. "You two can bunk down here... I'm... going to take a shower." she touched her lips. "Korba... " she sighed. "Contact Nick Ryder... and have him prepare for Kinsey."

"Got it although it may have to wait... she is really passed out." JT replied

- Later aboard the Vengeance

Bellatrix had never been this livid in her life. A wave of deep seething anger that burned deep within her craw. Not even when her part-time lover, Nick Ryder and his wife Julie Lei, betrayed her in her own universe. She had cornered that Nicholas in a small bar in Honolulu, and killed him as dispassionately as if she were simply cutting down a particularly annoying bush in the backyard.

But, this was different. She knew Kinsey and Jack would betray them. She had been practically screaming that from the rooftops. And yet, Dominus and her own child chose to ignore her warnings. She should have removed the two lovers' heads at the first opportunity Dominus be damned.

Bellatrix and Dominus had lost a good many of their acolytes to the lovers. Halfway competent acolytes were hard to find and even harder to train. Granted the best had survived and become stronger because of it, but it was still a blow.

Before Bellatrix was a line of bound Kinseys and Jacks. At least half the line had been killed in varying degrees of brutality. The smell of burning flesh, blood, and bodily fluids filled the room.

Bellatrix reached out with the ijulna and crushed the skull of a wide-eyed Jack. Blood and brain matter squirted in all directions including across Bellatrix's face.

A Kinsey, she had no idea if this pair had been lovers, but she stood definitely, anger blazing her eyes. "You're pissed at me?" Bellatrix said in a low hiss. "That makes two of us my dear. I should have done this long ago." With that Bellatrix's kliden hissed through the air and bisecting this particular Kinsey. The wound was fatal, there was no doubt about it, but it was done in a way that would prolong her suffering.

Bellatrix kneeled and leaned in closely. She wiped the hair from the dying woman's face, "I know it wasn't you that betrayed us, but damn this feels good. And I know one thing as well: you cannot betray us now too. So use that as some measure of comfort. Think of it as a payment for your counterpart's attempt on my daughter's life. You know what they say about pissing off a mama bear."
