[Alice Ryder]

"Does it involve body heat?" Alice inquired as she touched him with her cold hands. A subtle reminder that he still hadn't switched off the psionic blocker. She made a mental note to do further research into the correlation between it and the disturbance in her internal temperature at a later date.

[Nick Ryder]

"Gah those are cold hands." Nick said with a chuckle and pulled out his multipurpose padd from his pocket. "Alright... and... psi blockers are down." he tested it by snapping his fingers and creating a small flame. "Let's get you warmed up... although why do I get the feeling that once Kassie takes the kids, there's going to be less on your body?"

[Alice Ryder]

"Oh bless you Nicholas Ryder." Alice said with a euphoric smile as a small flame erupted on her drink. "Oops." She added as she quickly put it out.

[Nick Ryder]

Nick picked it up and sipped it. "Fire actually makes it taste better." he mused and heard a beep from his comm. "Kassie is picking them up any minute via transporter." he chuckled. "I think she's wise to our plan."

[Alice Ryder]

"She is a smart woman." Alice said as she took his hand. "Come along Nicholas enough work. Approach all of this with a fresh mind in the morning."

[Nick Ryder]

Nick got up and followed her. "You are full of good ideas Mrs. Ryder." he said and put his hand on the small of her back. "This is the coldest I've felt you since Dominus was draining our heat for his engines. I may need to hold onto you all night."

[Alice Ryder]

"And that is the best idea you've had all day." Alice teased.
