The Worriment Waltz

[Jonathan Price]

Jon yawned as he walked out of his bedroom, he always intended to wake up before Bella, but lately that never seemed to happen. Of course, most mornings, he was usually awakened by the sounds of the twins getting into something or some business from the office. Instead he was roused by the aroma of freshly brewed tea and breakfast.

"Was awfully nice of Kassie to take the kids for a couple days." Jon said as he walked up behind Bella and put his arms around her. "I can also get used to our favorite cafe beaming us breakfast." he kissed her shoulder and raised an eyebrow. "So is your father actually coming today or is he still out hunting on the Viper?"

[Isabella price]

“We meet with him today.” Bella said as she leaned against him. “Sounds like a full house actually. Dad’s team, Nick, and Decker. Sounds like a headache too. Good thing I got waffles with whipped cream and strawberries.”

[Jonathan Price]

"That will certainly make the day go smoother. As long as my creamy strawberry blonde wife is at my side I think we'll manage." Jon said as he gave her a tight hug. "Still not entirely pleased how things went down with Kinsey and Jack, but that's why we're meeting. I think Kassie should watch the kids until tomorrow, Daisy can handle it. But I see this taking all day." he poured himself a cup of tea and smiled as he inhaled the scent. "Alice's blend. That tea company wants me to declare this the 'official' tea of Terra Alpha."

[Isabella price]

Bella laughed softly, "Alice would love that. Especially if everyone is drinking tea. Speaking of I'll have Daisy serve it today. Who knows maybe Alice will show up since Kassie has Gale too."

[Jonathan Price]

"I have a feeling she'll be showing up. Kirby said that she and him had a little chat in the bar before they had Kassie pick up the boys and they haven't left their living quarters." Jon said with a smile. "I don't mind. We need to get enough options on the board."

[Isabella price]

"Good we could use her touch." Bella said with a smile as she sipped at her tea. "Well eat up today is going to be our only early day, I hope. Only reason I'm up early. Otherwise my ass would still have been in that warm bed with you."

[Jonathan Price]

"I'm so glad we made the call to open the office later, really who the bloody hell is even useful that early in the morning?" Jon said as he started to dig into his waffles. "Nicholas was barely coherent without at least a cup of coffee or tea first thing, although the man only sleeps like two or three hours a night. Then he'd call me up and go on about something and I'm barely awake. At least until we got married then he bothered you."

[Isabella price]

"He only bothered you because I refused to answer. When we moved in together I figured you needed more sleep than I did." Bella said with a shrug as she poked at her waffles.

[Jonathan Price]

"Well you don't need as much sleep since you got that transfusion of augment blood." Jon replied. "By the way, speaking of augments, your grandfather... think we should involve him? Malcolm brought up a good point at the last Cabinet meeting, we do have a considerable number of Augments around lately, they should have an official voice. Think he'd be amiable to it? Especially given our prime threats are powered individuals. I would hate there to be any kind of witch hunt, like Porter tried with the Jase'dasis."

[Isabella price]

"I'll have Daisy invite him but you know how that conversations going to go. 'Oh they blew up planets why didn't I ever think of that. That's marvelous. Maybe I should try that sometime.'" Bella said in her best Khan impression. "Then JT is going to go 'KHHAAAANNNNNN'! We work with children."
