[Liara]

“I could think of worse ways to go.” Selene stated matter of fact as she slowly rinsed the soap off.

[Clint Cross]

"Yeah... same here." Clint replied and put his arms around her. "Let's make this work... whatever it takes. I know it's going to take a while to get used to but... we're both going to be better for all this. "

[Liara]

“I won’t be able to love you.” Selene admitted looking into his eyes as she leaned into him. That simple statement made her feel vulnerable and exposed. “I don’t know how.”

[Clint Cross]

Clint looked into her eyes. "Take your time... you'll find it eventually. So we're... friends with benefits. "

[Liara]

“Never really had those before either.” Selene said still looking into his eyes. “A lot of firsts with you Cross. Gonna need your help here.”

[Clint Cross]

"I know and look... if there ever comes a time when you're like 'I can't...I'm out.' just tell me. Or if I'm pushing too much on you." Clint said softly. "You're stepping into someone else's live, at least in some people's eyes. So it's going to take time, which I'm fine with. Really. Hey I've heard it before and not just Selene, my daughters, some of my other friends... this is a lonely career path sometimes. Friends, lovers, family are all targets but... it helps when the family you put around you are literally the same targets as you anyway. So we're all in it together."

[Liara]

Selene reached up and kissed him.

“One day at a time.” She whispered and laughed softly. “Waters gone cold.”

[Clint Cross]

"Well then why don't I get you warm again..." Clint said as he kissed her neck and turned off the water and grabbed a towel. "There are plenty of things I can do to you to warm you up." he looked into her eyes. "By the way... if people ask... don't say we nearly died because of Homebrew. We'll never hear the end of it."

[Liara]

Selene laughed softly, “I won’t and I can’t wait to see what you have in mind to make me warm.”

[Clint Cross]

"Well it involves blankets, me and well... some fun pressure points." Clint said with a smile as he dried off. "Oh that feels way better even though I still feel all... weird." he looked around. "Y'know this bathroom reminds me of our old place on Byron that used to be Jack and Kinsey's place. I think she decorated this. Same sink, same toilet. Same towel bars. Didn't realize it until now."
